planning and describe how author, purpose, reliability affect the use of sources. Along with this,
study will evaluate the eight sources.

Concept of personal and professional development
Personal development comprises of those activities which help to develop person’s
capabilities and enhance the quality of life throughout their life (Bean and et.al., 2018). So it is a
process that helps to assess life goals and assist to meet objectives. Whereas, Professional
development is all about improving skills that helps to meet the organization’s objectives
(Booher and Gunn, 2020). Its approached are consultation, mentoring and technical assistance.
Value of short term-goals
Short term goals are those which an individual want to accomplish soon and it does not

only get motivated but also helps to increase productivity by focusing upon long term goal. The

Medium term goals
It takes a bit longer time than a short term goal and can be attained within a month or
