Introduction:
The academic skills is termed as the knowledge that support students to perform better as
well as more actively in their academic career. The academic skills include the communication,
social, studying as well as presentation skills. In relation to this, the academic skill is important
for the students in order to improve the academic grades as performance in class. The report will
represent the support services provided by Leeds Trinity University to the students. Moreover,
this portfolio will also highlight about my reflection related to how student support services of
university can be beneficial for me as well as my peers for future professional career.
MAIN BODY
Discussion of student support services provided by Leeds Trinity University:
The Leeds Trinity University provides the support services to its wide range of national
as well as international students. The university has competent and well experienced team of
professionals that delivers the best services to students that support them in gaining solution of
any problems in most appropriate manner. The university render a unique experience to their
students by launching various services so that the students can take advantage in order to
improve their academic as well as future professional careers. The Lords Trinity University
provides to its students various channels through which the student can get proper solution of
their grievances. For instance, the student can contact with the student support office by Email,
text message or by using phones (Tamis-LeMonda and et.al., 2019).
. In addition to this, the student can directly reach to the office and can get the solution for their
problems. The university support the students with various kinds of issues and problem which is
mentioned in below points:

The effective student-support department of university provides academic support by
developing academic skills of students.
The university supports the students in dealing with personal issues more effectively.
The student support department also provides health as well as well-being services in
order to resolve their mental or physical health related issues.
The support service department of university also aid students in solving their relation-
ship issues in proper manner (Ohtani and Hisasaka, 2018) .
The university's student support service area also helps student in dealing with issues
related to choosing cost effective house with good amenities.
The student support department also supports physically disabled students by giving them
proper facility so that they can't face any problems regarding studies.
The department also assures that the campus is ragging free by making laws and policies
in order to protect students from unnecessary bad practises by other students.
The most important service provided by student support department of university is
online as well as offline library facility. In this, the student can take advantage of its wide
and innovative library in order to develop new skills as well as enhance their academic
knowledge to the greater extent (Chuang and et,al,, 2018).
Explaining about my reflection on the student support services:
As a student, the support service department of Leeds Trinity University can assist me in
my student career life as it provides the online as well as offline library services where I can read
the books through using my phone and computer also. In relation to this, the library of university
has the large number books related to different specialist fields such as business, medicine,
archaeology and many more. Since, I am a business student the library facility can assist me in
reading many business related books as well as magazines which can directly improve my
business management skills and can prepare me to hold my future professional career in most
efficient manner. In relation to this, the innovative library services can also help me to
understand business concept in better manner which will support me in achieving better position
in my professional career. Furthermore, the academic writing services provided by student
support department will be very helpful for me in order to develop my academic writing skills as
well as development. In addition to this, the academic writing services will allow me to write
better research project and assignments in the most creative manner (Peters and Romero, 2019).

This service by university well also enable me to improve my reading as well as note taking
skills which will support me in better learning process and understanding complex topics in
effective manner. Most importantly, this will allow me to submit plague free research projects

professors of my class. Furthermore, the Well-being services provided by Student-support
department of Leeds Trinity University will support me to gain the mental well-being. This will

Conclusion:
It has been concluded from the above report that Academic skill is an effective skill that

University. In relation to this, the report has also covered about my reflection on the student-
support services rendered by the university. It was analysed by me that it helped me to tackle
better with academic issues as well as also supported in gaining a better mental well-being.
