Introduction
Development of academic skills is necessary in order to make sure that every
individual is meeting all their objectives and performing all the functions required by them
appropriately. In the context of following report various discussions are made on different
learning aspects for individual according to development of their academic space (Hui, 2017,
June). In the following the beginning of report consists of discussions about different systems
to manage time and create a timetable for an individual. There are discussions regarding
different key sources and diary writing in order to identify current functions of academic
skills which are required for an individual to complete a module. The report also consists of
various discussions about different systems for identification of reliability and credibility of
data resources used.
Task 1
Time scheduling is an indefinite continuous process which is affecting present as well
as future of an individual. Management of time is as initial in order to make sure that all the
opportunities provided to individual are used by them for a better growth prospects. Time
management also plays an important role in developing and improving self-discipline of an
individual which can help them to successfully attain all their goals effectively in the given
time period. It is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety in individuals when the time of
contingency arises. It helps in creating various chances of possibilities in order to perform the
work under pressure when an individual is required to do so. Having good management skills
of time can help an individual to build their career bloc successfully. Management of time is
also leading an individual towards successful achievement of all their goals and objectives
successfully. There are a number of different time management skills which can be used by
an individual some of which are mentioned below:
Pomodoro: This is a technique which is used by an individual through setting a timer for 25
minutes of continuous working. An individual can take break for five minutes after every 25
minutes. The 25 minutes of time is fully provided to focus upon the work and after for
continuous cycle of such for 25 minutes one can take a break for 20 minutes (Yan, 2020). It is
a great way which helps an individual to repeatedly continue the process until the task is

completed successfully. It is a great way to reduce ineffective scheduling and also skip breaks
when longer task to be completed by an individual.
Kanban: The following technique was developed in Japan in the year 1940 which is aiming
at strategic planning of time. The individual is deciding to divide the task into four different
segments which are backlog, to do, in progress and done. It is a technique which helps in
checking the multitasking and effective scheduling which can be enhanced using SMART
objectives by an individual. It is a great way to manage tasks through different softwares or
sticky notes and also delegate the task properly while building a team.
Getting things done: This is the technique in which an individual is brainstorming their task
in order to successfully list down all the activities that are to be performed. The technique
consists of five elements which are captured, clarify, organise, reflect and engage. It is
necessary that the individual is noting down every task and providing a category to each of
the task. This will help in building a stress-free time schedule for the individual so that all the
task can be successfully conducted clarifying skills and knowledge to conduct the task and
increase the productivity.
Eat that frog: it is an activity which helps in prioritising the task in the process of conducting
all the task. Individual is allowed to pick the most difficult task which will be performed first
and further in the same sequence. The task is basically divided into five categories which start
from task a and ends with the task E. The task it is usually the most important task and the
task E is the task which can also be eliminated if all the rest of the task are not completed
successfully. It is a great way to meet the deadlines and make priority of different task while
finishing a work.
Time boxing: The following technique is used by individual in order to allocate the time to
different activities according to the level of difficulty. It also includes fixing the deadlines
which will help in management of skills of an individual successfully. It is necessary that an
individual is laying out the list of activities which are to be performed in order to allocate
time and that is to be done in accordance with complexity level of each activity (Cronenberg,
2020). Breaks are also important in regular interval of time in order to make sure that
distractions can be avoided and priorities can be said by an individual.
With the help of the above management skills of time that are mentioned above one
can successfully develop skill of time management. While setting up the time schedule for

my module I have used Pomodoro as the technique which involves different breaks and
project completion on the specific time period. It also helps in management of balance
between different breaks as well as project time. It helps in enhancing productivity and
growth. This technique is a great way to improve performance by taking regular breaks which
will help in reducing the stress and anxiety while performing a work. If it is working time
which is estimated through the help of this technique can also help in reducing the burden of
work. It is a great way to avoid distractions as all the distractions can be managed in the
break which is taken in between the working schedule.

Task 2
What are the advice you would give concerning the key resources that can be used in order to
help study and learn about module? What have you found useful and why?
The following module is related to performing different functions and using various
functions appropriately. There are a number of resources which are necessary in order to
make sure that individual is performing the entire task appropriately in the module. This
requires a number of different resources which can help in better achievement of the entire
objective. Some of the resources are essential in order to make sure that the goals can be
achieved and support required to achieve them can be gained. It is necessary to make sure
that all the work is organised well and the resources are allocated to the work successfully. In
order to successfully achieve all the objectives there are a number of different functions
which are to be performed (Nicholson, 2018). First of all the goals are to be made realistic
and achievable. It will successfully help in explaining the goals and also communicating the
information regarding achievement of goals. There are different approaches which can be
used in order to make sure that the resources are successfully distributed between different
processes. It is a great way to understand the requirement of training and how does the
function of training in the business work. Motivation is another major factor which has to be
performed by manager in a business and it will sufficiently help them to make sure that all
the employees are working correctly. I also ensure that various essential resources in the
organisation include human resource. It is required to make sure that human resources
engaged successfully in the work along with providing them proper satisfaction and good
working situation. These are certain ways which are necessary for a manager in order to make
sure that the personal objectives of individual can be successfully aligned with the overall
objective of the organisation. Fulfilling all the requirements of individual will help in
enhancing the productivity of organisation along with its profitability and all the goals of the
organisation can be successfully achieved through it.

Write a diary, on how your academic skills have developed over the course of this module.
This diary should be reflective and detailed.
Hello I am Mr Y. This is related to achieving different personal objectives while
performing a module. There are discussion of different impact of organisational functions and
various ways to help achieving different business objectives. This helps in successfully
achieving all the business objectives which are related to different business functions in order
to make sure that all of these functions can be appropriately performed. It is necessary to
achieve all the objectives and also identify career goals (Lam, 2018). It is a great way to
make sure that better results are achieved and the entire task a performed according to the
need of organisation and the requirement of consumers. The journey for me was helpful in
order to make sure that I am performing all the functions appropriately. It also helps me to
successfully manage all the functions and develop time management skills. With
development of time management skills I worked on my strengths and weaknesses. One of
the major strength was communication skill and time management. On the other hand
weaknesses included performance of different business activities so that business goals can
be achieved. All these approaches were very useful for me as it helps me to develop and
identify different task in my project. It also helped in successfully achieving all the functions
of business in an effective manner. The functions were used as per the needs and
requirements and management of all the functions were conducted identifying their priorities
for the growth. In this way I worked through my module and completed it successfully.

from different resources. It is required by the student to correctly learn the information about
the published resources they are using. They need to understand and explain the author,
source, publisher or sponsor of the information (Bhatia, Chakraverty and Kumar, 2020). It is
necessary that the information is correctly supported by the evidence. They also need to work
upon various spelling, typographical or grammatical errors in the information they are using.
