Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Up gradation of skills and abilities in an individual so that they can do explosion of
opportunities of training and educational aspect at a work place, can be defined as the
professional development of individual and the development of those skills of individual
which help them in getting a job are personal development (Busch 2019). It is necessary to
have equal balance between them so that the individual can focus on their career
development.
Description and discussion of the value of short term goals
identifying at least 3 personal examples
Such goals are generally made for a short duration of time period i.e. less than 1 years
(Miller 2019). These goals are very helpful for an individual as it helps in bringing the
changes in skills very instantly.
These goals have high value in the life of an individual as leads to the increase in
motivation level because it is easy to achieve short term goals and after achieving these goals,
individual feel very motivated.
