INTRODUCTION
Academic skill can be described as ability, strategies as well as habits that assist learner in order
to get success in academic life (D’Alessio, Avolio and Charles, 2019). It is developed for
purpose of getting success for literacy as well as other technical subjects. It is important for
getting success at university and for boosting confidence of students. This project report includes
information of college support services along with reflection.

Waltham International College is one of educational organisation that is providing higher
education programme to their students which is situated in barking. It is providing different
support and facilities to their students. There are various factors present in organisation that is
contributing to success of students in this college and also offer different services on which
student rely. It is offering supporting surrounding to student that allow them to contribute to their
success.
Student advice: Waltham International College is having student welfare team that is
providing support to students for purpose of resolving non academic issues faced by them
(Ismailoglu and Zaybak, 2018). It is a educational establishment that is also providing
appointments to students and guide them in order to resolving issues related to finance and other
funding enquiries, budgeting and money management.
Library resources: It is another facilities provided by Waltham International College for
students that allow them easy access of journal articles. Books and other special material that is
important for completion of studies. This educational establishments has experience and
professional staff that is providing expert advice, support as well as training to students. It also
has E-resources facilities for their students that allow students to access to different material of
learning to students for 24 hours a day. It is facility due to which students are able to access to
various information required by them related to professional and academic life. It is a facility that
is important students fulfilling their educational objectives And also allow them to acquire extra
educational material.
Young Careers: There are various challenges occur in life of a students at college and
University. Waltham International College is offering facilities of young career to students that

opportunities to attending sessions of support group.

2019). These advisor at university assist students for finding out support from counsellors that is

Waltham International College offer students with internet facilities and has different
computers for students where they can complete their homework. While studies at this
university, I am able to get various information about different programs designed for purpose of
supporting students. I get very little time at university to access these facilities. I was excited
about new learning and environment. I also excited abut how teacher will help us to understand
and learn things and research new things. Teachers are playing important role at university by
helps us to understand assignment and also making assessment easier for us. They are providing
us guidance for purpose using IT rooms, library material, finding out required sources. These IT
rooms and library are organise in well manner and provide students with different faculties
where students can successful learn new things and gain knowledge.
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that academic skills are
playing important role in order to boost confidence of students it provide them strength that helps
them to get success in academic life. There are various types of skills to be required by a person
in order to get success. Educational establishment is including various facilities like library
