INTRODUCTION
There is different type of skill that should be in build in students for achieving success in
their career. This can be achieved by gathering information from different sources as journals,
(Iammarino N.K. 2018) articles. The present report is based on CRAAP test that is beneficial in
analysing authencity of the gathered data. The information available on Brilliant tab on Library
page is also involved in the present report.
Explain CRAAP test with its application in studies
This is the test used by an individual for achieving success related to information
gathered from different websites such as articles, (Kelly M.G. 2019) blogs, websites and other
foundations. CRAAP is the most effective tool in order to check authenticity of data. The
detailed study of the tool is evaluated below as:
Currency- This factor is linked with identifying that information gathered from the user
is not outdated. It should be current including facts.
Relevance-It helps in identifying relevancy of data for the users. It is beneficial to access
data on a single topic in order to maximise knowledge and creativity.
Authority- It helps in analysing authencity of the data so that correct information can be
communicated to the users. The information should be written by those people who are
competent in their working.
Accuracy: The data should be authenticating and this can be achieved by applying
effective reference and gathering help from research working.
Purpose: The major reason behind formulation of the article need to be evaluated before
relying on it. It will help in analysing the main purpose for executing the research work.
This test is useful for determining the sources The test is important for the students as it
results in analysing the reliability and authenticity of the data. (Kitsis E. 2019) In this modern
world people gather information from different sources such as published articles, blogs,
newspaper etc. This tool is valuable for checking authenticity of the data before they can be
applied. This tool is having great importance in the overall study for achieving effective
outcomes. They help in analysing the sources which are available online from which data can be

gathered. This test is useful for determining the sources from which the data is collected for the
study. In the present time both teacher and students are mainly dependent on the information
gathered from the research done previously, sources of internet so there is high relevancy that
information gathered is relevant according to the study.

brilliant is also accessible from the websites. It helps in making bright career of the students by
using different sources such as help section, referencing, search evaluation etc. This is an
important tool for enhancing the academic skills of the students. ( Reid S. 2020) In the present
situation of covid 19 it is difficult for learners to go out for study so they are using the tabs
available at the Library. New things are explored with the help of brilliant tool. The students
should gather information in order to use both online and offline sources for collecting the
information. The library tab is most significant that is useful for the student in order to develop
new concept which can help them in their study time.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that there are different sources from which
information can be gathered for enhancing skill of students. The different test such as CRAAP
which helps in analysing reliability & authenticity of data.
