Introduction
The Academic Work has the inclusion of the knowledge gathering and the combination of the
research in a detailed basis in a particular field. The Academic work includes many works, which
the students need to do like attending classes and workshops. The people who do research work
and detailed analysis on any particular field they have to arrange many self-arranged activities to
learn more about the field, teaching other students ,video conferencing other school or colleges
students to gain and share knowledge. The practice and the preaching in a productive way can
increase ones academic knowledge and work.
I will use the Gibb’s Reflective Cycle to emphasize on my learning and the process of gaining
knowledge (Watson and Santo, 2018). I chose these style as it gives a step by step and systematic
process of understanding the experience of a student in the college , as well as it also applies to
the employees to explain their past or present experience regarding the working experience,
satisfaction and the culture of that place that person is working or studying. Therefore, the
reflective study will be based on my learning process on the basis the Gibb’s Reflective Model.

Reflection
Effective management of yourself and your academic work
In every sphere of life, managing yourself is the first tactics we all should learn to proceed
strategic in the professional life and the practical field. In the business world, the management of
time and the routine life is the first steps to achieve something good. The management of
yourself tactical can make the person influential person capable of being a good leader and lead
the team work in some business oriented organisation and can be corporate sectors. According to
my knowledge and based on the Gibb’s Model. I will give the detailed and systematic
description of the Gibb’s Model, which is the cycle, or the model, which emphasized on the
detailed explanation of a person knowledge and experience in particular field. The experience
can be in two sectors either in knowledge sectors or in working sectors. The Gibbs model was
developed by the Gibbs, in the year 1988 and has different segments they are as follows:
Description-The part involves the description of the learning as if I have learned the various
academic writing skulls like the format of Harvard and APA, then the various style of
referencing and the concept of plagiarism is what is called the description part.
Feelings: The feeling section deals with the reaction of the student about the learning of the
initials about the gut reaction. Like for me the first gut reaction I had that the details of the
academic writing is very exciting to learn, and the increase in my knowledge made me to learn
more about the academic writing. I was creative in writing journals and articles and therefore the
feelings were quite positive and that I was sure that I could work in an expert manner in the
future (Calkin, 2018).
Evaluation-The evaluation is the field where the learning has any good experiences. In my
process of learning the academic writing and other essentials factors like referencing and
plagiarism. The Term plagiarism was hard to understand at the first instance therefore the
relevant writing concept took time to settle down in my mind. Therefore, the constant practice
made the thing liable in our hands and the writing concept became easier and enjoyable.

Analysis: The theories surround or revolve around the application of various communication
methods and theories of practice. The analysis part emphasizes on the various methods and their
experiences relevant to the situations we face while learning the academic writing concept. The
situations help to analyze the various factors, which influence the learning theories and how they
make the difference the concept from the situations we have faced.
Conclusion- The conclusions generally refer to the learning’s we have finally gathered from the
whole study. The learning’s and the utilisation s the concluding part of any learning processes.
Action Plan- The Action plan refers to the utilisation of the learning the real field, Like for
example the knowledge we gathered in the places of academic writing, the consequences like
inefficient writing and bad quality work will make the readers of those articles to give bad
reviews and feedbacks (Cardell and Douglas, 2018). The plagiarism is a serious issue and law
breaking in case of Academic Writing. The copying of other files lead to plagiarism and
therefore the authentication of accurate and original writing loses its place. The learning should
be applied in the adverse cases of plagiarism and therefore avoid those situations and make
myself good an academic writing.
If I apply, it in the cases of my learning in developing my academic skills and managing me then
the analysis will be in a systematic way. The learning will be more precise the following of the
model in my theory will be able to help me understand my flaws and drawbacks and help me in
applying my academic skills in the real fields and write good Quality articles and blogs(Amadi,
and Oriji,2018).The-managing skill is necessary in these situations as well. The various
managing skills include the qualities of being
 Self-confidence
 The sense of Accountability
 Be transparent in case of working and gather trust among the employees and the
colleagues
 Understanding one’s capability
 We should always keep our self open to changes and vulnerability
 The understanding nature to the lower employees and the colleagues

These all are the qualities I worked out when I was getting knowledge about my Academic
writing skills. I have learned that managing myself will lead me to work with the employees in
the practical field in a much composed and dedicated way. While working with others we should
understand that we should be understanding and believe in the concept of making productive
operations or work do that the company gets more and more competitive advantage (Wyatt and
Gale, 2018). In case of Academic Writing, the satisfaction of the clients and giving them good
quality work falls under the category of the Action plan in relation to the Gibbs reflection
Theory.
An understanding of academic integrity: plagiarism and referencing
The concepts of the Academic Writing are huge and then we need to follow many rules
regarding in providing the clients accurate and relevant theories in regarding to the Academic
Writing. The Academic Uprightness is giving valid data in the writings and giving the relevant
information and file workout copying the files from other files, which can lead to plagiarism
which is an offensive crime in regards to Academic Writing. I have faced the situation that they
can be very much penalised and the files, which have high plagiarism, can be returned and not
considered much relevant and valid (Booth, 2015).

Future Actions
I should give suggestions in regarding efficient and accurate Academic writing and managing
skills. They should be regarding the management of own skills which can eventually help in
building the self confidence
 We should involve in more recreational activities apart from research, studies, and
working in the practical, which will refreshing our mind and can give more fruitfulness
and productiveness in case of work field (Goodall Jr, 2016).
 The use of passive voice and split infinitive should be limited in case of avoiding more
errors and plagiarism (Hollins et al., 2016).
 We should communicate more in the work field and enhance our communication power
in building up the confidence, I have seen that the more people I communicate with I gain
more knowledge and confidence .The more knowledge we share with each other we have
more developing fields
 The creativeness and innovativeness should be included so that we can avoid the risks of
plagiarism

Conclusion
The report was related to the development in the fields if the Academic Writing, I have also
explained the Gibbs reflective theory to enable the understanding regarding the systematic way
of explaining the experience in the learning and acquiring knowledge about the academic
writing. I have explained the whole study based on the Gibbs Reflective model and explained my
experience in regarding the knowledge gaining about the academic Skills. The explanation for
the self-management will helps in developing the leadership quality helps in developing the
confidence in applying the skills in the practical field in the future. The systematic way can help
us in reducing plagiarism in the academic writing and make the writing more accurate and of
good quality to cater to the satisfaction of the clients. I have explained and even given
recommendations regarding the development of self-management skills and developing the
academic writing skills to make the work more productive and efficient.
