The different processes can be enhanced in an effective & efficient manner with the help of
possessing the appropriate academic skills. The suitable strategies are to be determined in a
proper manner so as to enhance the complete learning process. I need to improve my academic
learning so that I can attain a higher grade & percentage.
The high level of confidence is very necessary to be enhanced & maintained by me in order to
not only become an effective graduate but also become more participative in the effective
decision-making processes. The overall process of learning gets improved with the help of
possessing effective academic skills (Cetin, 2015). The academic success can be achieved by me
with a high level of potential along with the overall development. I have identified the most
effective approach through which I can develop effective & efficient skills in me. The skills can
be attained by me with the help of “SMART goals”. The first letter of S evaluates that specific
goals must be determined. In other words, I must be able to achieve those goals which I actually
want to attain in my future.
The effective sources must also be evaluated from where I can achieve my determined goals.
Second letter M states that the goals which are been defined must be measurable as because the
goals which cannot be measured are of no use. Those goals must be planned which can be
enhanced for the longer-period of time. Third letter A involves the statement of “Attainable”
which means that whether I will be able to bring up academic success or not. The time limit must
be set in which those goals must be defined which can be attained by me. The fourth letter R
states that the irrelevant goals must be eliminated from the list of academic success; only the
relevant ones must be included & adapted to be directed. The last & fifth letter T states that the
goals which are been defined must be achieved within the limited time frame as because the
longer time can reduce the relevance of defined goals.
For the achievement of both the short and the long-term goals, the flexible time limit must be set
& targeted so that the constant or standard speed to be maintained in the effective enhancement
of academic success. The academic goals must be set in the form of “SMART” concept which
enhances the increased level of positivity (Zhang & Henderson, 2014). Also, the points of
feedback must be considered very effectively which are being given by my teachers & lecturers.
The weak points must be taken care of & effective measures must be set to improve those
weaknesses.

The overall personality is being developed with the help of enhancing academic skills. I will be
able to possess the extreme level of motivation along with overall development for the longer-
period of time. I can also improve my weaknesses & can convert them into effective strengths
with the help of enhancing the positive & favourable attitude.
