Accenture is one of the leading company in Australia. The business is considered as the
worldwide leader in producing the innovative and the effective learning solutions that provided a
blended, interactive and the highly engaging learning environment that is tailored to the
organization’s requirements (Accenture.com. 2019). The paper also describes about the
workplace of the organization and the diversity evident of the working condition in Accenture.
The following study shows the reflection regarding the impact of diverse working condition in
the business in both positive and negative manner. The paper would also be discussing about the
improvements that the organization requires for the diverse working condition.
Description of a chosen workplace or location, and identification of the forms of diversity
evident
The workplace of Accenture is comprised of the employees of different religious and
cultural background. The organization aims to achieve the diversity in the workplace where
people have full sense of belonging within the organization. The business imperative of
Accenture is that, every person of Accenture are responsible for creating and sustaining the
business (Butler-Henderson et al. 2018). The organization focuses on the unwavering
commitment towards the diversity that every member of the organization should have the sense
of belonging within the organization. The core values of the organization is to determine the
inclusion and diversity to the organization. It is found that the organization does not allow any
discriminations in the workplace. The discrimination in the ground of the business are not
allowed in the diverse working environment. Accenture follows the diverse working condition in
the working place as this creates the organization believes that the members of the organization

should not be discriminated because of age, ability, ethnicity, gender identity and the sexual
orientation. The rich diversity makes the business process more innovative, competitive and
more creative as this helps the clients to serve better in the communities.
The diversity evident found from the organization is that the HR of Accenture Australia
focuses on the firm initiatives for focusing on the real and the diversity results. This is evident
from the business that the gender equality be maintained in the organization’s working place.
The organization is working for achieving the target of 25% of the members for appointing the
female managing directors by 2020 (Prause and Mujtaba 2015). Accenture has also continued to
expand to over 800 allies for the ongoing awareness, communications and events. This focuses
on the enablement and the organization focuses on the cross-cultural issues and the indigenous
people in the working place.
Discussing the ways in which different forms of diversity affect that workplace or location
both positively and negatively
As being the manager of the organization, it is found out that the business is affected by
the diversity in the workplace both in the positive and negative manner. I observed that the
diversity in the workplace has create great changes in the business process. The advantages of
the diversity in the workplace is that the diversity increases the creativity in the organization.
This is so because the members from the diverse cultures, backgrounds, beliefs that comes
together for achieving the common goals increases creativity (Fowler 2018). The diversity also
increases adaptability as the members from the different cultural background focuses on the
business problems and adopt to the changes for maintaining the customer demands and the
fluctuating markets. This has been observed that the diversity in the workplace is able to

increase productivity in the business, as this will enhance the business profit in the share market.
The diverse people with different experiences, skills and cultures, languages also provide
increased range of services for providing the customer services on the global business (Griffiths
et al. 2018).
It also have been observed that the business faces various communication issues in the
organization. The diversity creates direct impact on the communication methods and that is
significant driving factor in the business that would leads to success. For the international and
various customer, dealing the lacking in the business communication creates negative impact on
the business. The diverse work environment is required for development, as the development of
the diverse working environment requires the increased cost of training. The diverse working
group in the business also causes integration issues in the business.
The organizational actions that could improve the effectiveness of the workplace or
location by better taking account of diversity
The organization could improve the workplace by taking account of diversity as the
company should commit to boost the cultural competency, as this would help the company to
develop the effective diverse condition in the business. This will increase the business production
and the quality of business production.
The business would be able to seek actively for the new perspectives and ideas by taking
the problem and finding different solutions for the problems. The business should treat the
members in the way they want to be treated, as this will develop the effective working
environment in the business.
