INTRODUCTION
Hospitality Industry is a broad group of businesses that provides services to their
customers. It includes businesses such as hotels, food and beverages, travel and tourism which
provides services to the customers and focus greater on the customer satisfaction. In the Hotel
Industry there are different types of business which are included it. Hotel Industry in another
important branch that provides services and contributes to42754243wards the economic
development of the country. It provides services such as accommodation, lodging, banquet hall,
etc. to their customers. The following assignment will provide with scale and size of different
hotels which are found within the hospitality industry. Holiday inn is the hotel chosen for this
assignment which provides accommodation services to their customers and has a wide global
presence all over the world. Further it will also focus on the role of front office department and
the contribution of the housekeeping in providing good services to the customers of Hotel along
with other facilities related to the accommodation services.

In today's world, Hospitality Industry is one of the most competitive sectors in the world
which is playing an effective role in the overall development of economy. Like all other sectors
of businesses, this sector also have a severe competition and every business under this industry
tries to gain competitive advantage by focusing more and more on the services provided by them
and the customer satisfaction
(Bowling, 2014). These businesses have their different size and scale of operations and this is
shown with the help of graph and table which are provided as under:
