this because this will help me in every job I do in my life. This will also assist me in building a
professional identity so that I can attract employers and influence the decision making of those
individuals. I need to put more efforts on my professional skills and for that I will try to interact
more with the people who are in the field of accounting from many years (Philbrick and
Cleveland, 2015). It will give me more knowledge about the accounting skills which is required
for getting a job in a company. For searching any opportunities in the field of accounts I need to
be make sure that I become familiar with Australian taxation law which will help me in ensuring
legal compliance in the business tractions (Chen, 2013). I am very good at crabbing things
quickly so I will try to more time in learning the attitude required for the job of accountant. I will
try to analyse all the top job portals available in Australia and look for the skills and knowledge
various recruiter or companies are looking in a candidate.
With the help of professional accountant I will devote time in learning the those
techniques mentioned in the job description. This will give me satisfaction about my strengths
which could help me in getting a job in a reputed firm. Through the job portal like “seek.com.au
or careerone.com.au” I will look at the best opportunities which are available for an accountant.
The biggest advantage which I have is of the calculation skills which helps me in pacing my

competitive advantage and makes me a suitable candidate which can be hired. More knowledge
about the MySQL adds an extra advantage on my accounting skills.
I am a hard-working person who likes to take a new challenges and believes in team
work. Whatever problems I face I directly consult to my mentor or the subordinate who is
working with me. This way learning becomes easy new things develops quire frequently. During
the tax return months or season, the working hours can be increased due to work load. I need to
prepare myself for that and need to use strategies which will help during that time. Accountants
have the time management skills so I think I have this skills and I am able to do my work with

accuracy and I will also produce my past work to the recruiter which I have done in any other

Social Networking Profile
Now a days, organisations look for the people who have history of high level of
performance and they know the meaning of professionalism. Sheer volume of information
available on the internet makes it difficult to make a great impression unless a person have a
great reputation online.
Professional recruiters now a days use social media to carry out the process of hiring the
employees. They analyse their social media image and look whether the personal is strong
enough to handle the operation of the business. For the personal branding, a person does not need
to restrict to one social media platform. They have to widen their reach and make their profile on
sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and etc. With this they can promote themselves but that
does not mean that you should put anything on these platform (Ward and Yates, 2013). A person
having a super professional image on LinkedIn but on Facebook he has a hard partying rebel
image. This will give a bed impression to the recruiters. They need to set a coordination with all
the profiles on the various platforms and should try to align all of them in accurate manner.
Linking the personal branding with the social media can increase the chances of getting
better opportunities because there are various benefits attached to it. With the strong personal
branding employers can find it easier to search you (Nolan, 2015). Individuals work will be
visible to lots of people. LinkedIn is a place for the professional people as this contains personal
information like the work experience or any other work in which you were involved in. This was
build with the purpose of developing a personal brand and linking your actions with the
professionalism.
Million of people have reach to Facebook and Twitter every day and they have the
chances to interact and bring opportunities for you. When recruiters want to know the personal
side of the person they will log on to the person's Facebook Id. So a strong profile is needed on
such platform. The information on these platforms has to be undated on regularly period which
put a positive impression on the employers (Harrin, 2010). Twitter is a simple platform so
various tools of it has to be learned. While making any tweets hashtags should be used. The
person should observe and analyse the trends. With this person can also follow the professionals
from the accounting field and can gain more knowledge about the new techniques which are
used them.
