Introduction
The concept of technology can be considered one of the most vital sector which are
playing a vital role in the recent times. The term cloud in the concept of cloud computing
basically refers to internet or network. In simple form we can say that the concept of cloud
can be considered as something which is present in a remote location. Cloud directly provides
service over the concept of the internet for example on the network which is private or on a
network which is private i.e. LAN, WAN and VPN. The aspect of cloud computing basically
refers to configuring, manipulating and accessing the application in an online form. On the
other hand the concept of cloud computing offers online infrastructure, data storage and
application. There are different kinds of platform which are involved into the concept of the
cloud computing that can be implemented according to the need of the organization and the
way in which the concept of cloud computing would be implemented within the working of
the organization.
The main focus point of the report is to deal with the aspect that are related with the
concept of the cloud computing and the different features which are related to the aspect. The
main emphasis would be on the concept of the models of the cloud computing and the
different advantage and the disadvantage which are related to the concept (Wang et al. 2015).
Cloud computing Deployment model
In the concept of cloud computing there basically four deployment model which are
public cloud, community cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud.

Public cloud: The public cloud basically allows the system to or the services to be
easily accessible to anyone or the general public. The concept of the public cloud can be
considered to be not so secured due to the factor of its openness.
Private cloud: The concept of the private cloud basically allows service and system
to be accessible within the organization. It directly offers more security due to the factor of
the private nature of the cloud.
Hybrid cloud: The concept which is related to the hybrid cloud can be considered as
a mixture of the public cloud and private cloud. It can be stated here that most of the critical
activity are performed within the aspect of the private cloud and most of the non-critical
activity ate performed within the public cloud.
Community cloud: The access of the community cloud is for a group of
organization.

Types of cloud
On the basis of the service which is obtained from the concept there are basically three
variety of cloud computing explained below:
 Infrastructure as a service (IaaS): The IaaS can be considered as a basic building
clock which is related to the IT cloud. The main access which is provided with the
help of the IaaS is the networking feature, data storage and computers (dedicated and
virtal hardware). The IaaS provides the user with the highest level of the flexibility
and concept of management control over the IT resources and is most similar to the
existing IT resources that many of the department of the IT and the developers are
very much familiar in recent times
 Platform as a service (PaaS): The need of the maintenance which is related to the
underlying architecture is removed in the concept of the PaaS. The main aspects
which are taken into consideration is the operating system and the hardware. This
majorly allow the organization to focus more on the aspect of the deployment of the
application.
 Software as a Service (SaaS): The concept of the PaaS can be considered as a
complete solution which is related to the services which are provided by the cloud
providers to run and manage application. In the aspect of the PaaS there is no need to
think about the how to manage the overall service and how the maintenance of the
service would be done. All these aspects are taken into considerations by the cloud
providers (Almorsy, Grundy and Müller 2016).
Cloud computing in business
In recent times there are many organization who tend or has moved the overall
working of the business both internal and external into the concept of the cloud computing.

The cloud computing provides a way of managing the overall business and the computing
resources of the business in an online manner. The concept can be explained as a prospective
of using a third party application to run the overall business as well as store the data of the
organization into the concept. The term cloud mainly refers to the aspect of the internet and
the operating “in the cloud” describes the way in which the data is stored in the concept of the
cloud and how the access of the data would be done in the peripheral of the cloud computing.
The main advantage which can be related to the aspect of the cloud computing when relating
to any business environment is that the organization do not have to focus on the aspect of the
updating and maintenance (Avram 2014). The sector of maintenance and updating is majorly
done by the cloud providers so this mainly form an area were the organization can focus more
on more critical activity of the organization.
Advantage of cloud computing
The main advantage which is related to the concept of the cloud computing are stated
below:
 Cost saving: The aspect of the cloud computing can be considered very much
beneficial in a way of providing a better cost effective solution to different process
related to the business. The main aspect which can be stated here is that the concept of
the cloud computing offers the aspect which is related to the pay per usage. This
means that the customer or the organization may according to the use and the service
is obtained from the aspect.
 Security: When a data is stored in the concept of the cloud computing it can be stated
that the security of the data must be there. This concept mainly means that data would
be directly stored in the aspect of the cloud storage must be kept secured so that any
third party does not involve into the concept.

 Disaster recovery: In the concept of the cloud computing there are different strategy
which is related to the aspect of the disaster recovery (Rittinghouse and Ransome
2016). This majorly means that if there are any type of disaster situation faced within
the concept the cloud providers always have a backup plan which would be
implemented into the process. The main advantage which can be obtained from the
concept is that no data would be lost and the security of the data would be existing in
the concept of the cloud computing (Botta et al. 2016)
Disadvantage of cloud computing
There are different types of disadvantage in the concept of the cloud computing which are
stated below:
 Privacy and security: Security and privacy can be considered as one of the biggest
disadvantage which is related to the aspect of the cloud computing. The mitigation
aspect which is related to the issue can be done with the help of deployment of
encryption, security application and secure hardware.
 Interoperability: Applications which are built in one platform of the cloud could be
able to be deployed in another platform. This concept is made possible by means of
web service. It can be stated here that the writing aspect of the web service can be
considered to be very much complex.
 Portability: The concept of portability can be considered as one of the issue which is
majorly faced in cloud computing. The main aspect which is related to the concept is
that the applications should be made to port from one platform to another without any
type of problem attached to it (Hashem, et al. 2015)

The main aspect which is highlighted in the report is the different aspects which are
related to the concept of cloud computing. The cloud computing can be stated to be playing a
very vital role in the aspect of improving the working of the organization. In any type of
technology there are few drawback, cloud computing also has few of the issue related to the
concept which are majorly discussed in the report. It can be stated here that research are
going on in the aspect of the improving the standard of the working within the organization
and in the near future it can be stated that the technology would be more safe and different
types of advantage can be directly be achieved from the concept.
