INTRODUCTION
The term digital behaviour for context of marketing research relates to various activities
that are performed by individuals online. In its inclusion respective behaviour of an individual
are being recorded in terms when they browse the internet. The stated technique plays a vital role
in regulating working life activities of an individual. Such behaviour of individuals is generally
recorded through cookies. This will help market researcher for enabling effective supply of
products or services as per recorded behaviour of individuals in the contemporary market
environment.
The presented report document is a Skills Development Proposal for Max, which will
reflect on the case study of Max’s performance. For the report paper, 2 major skills will be
highlighted which is most recommended for Max to survive in a contemporary environment.
Furthermore, a brief discussion will be made with respect to the importance of respective skills
and suggestions for improvement (Gomez and Bernet, 2019).
SKILL 1
Skill overview: Effective communication
The skill i.e., effective communication refers to a technique through which ideas or
concepts of an individual are being heard by other people for which supportive actions are being
produced. Under the skill, it should not be confused by an individual that winning an argument
reflects towards the efficiency of the said skill. The given skill plays a vital role in terms of
engaging tasks of an organisation in a precise manner that promotes coordinative efforts and
proves to be productive for the business firm (Rubens, Schoenfeld, Schaffer and Leah, 2018).
In the context of the provided case study of Max, it seems that Max didn’t have good
communication skills. As reflecting the case study, it appears that, due to a lack of
communication skills, Max was unable to communicate the desirable course of action to show
accountability in terms of working in the operational firm.
Importance of the skill
Communication skill plays a vital role when taking an instance of personal or
professional life-being. The said skill helps an individual to deliver the best form of information
and work in a professional manner when being engaged in a professional task. In context to
provide a case study, communication skills are deemed to be one of the most important skills

which are recommended to Max. Therefore, the development of communication skills will
deliver the best form of action to be produced by an individual in course of personal and
professional career development as well as working in an organisational firm (Akinci and Sadler‐
Smith, 2019);
 Basis of decision-making: The skill of communication forms an effective basis of
decision-making. Being in the process all the information or relevant messages are being
transmitted effectively which therefore enables a better process of decision-making in the
operational firm. On the other hand, while engaging in personal life activities of an
individual, this skill helps them to communicate the best form of personality and also
avoids conflicts caused by miscommunication.
 Facilitate co-operation: Through effective communication skills, a sense of co-operation
in a workplace can be established. This can be done in accordance with better delivery of
the required information and well-coordinated task. An individual with good
communication skills delivers effective standards for which professional efforts can be
produced at the workplace.
 Increases managerial efficiency: By adopting better techniques of communication, an
individual manager of a business firm can derive managerial efficiency at the workplace.
Through a continuous process of communication chances for wastages of business,
resources can be avoided and thus can be integrated with increased managerial efficiency.
Techniques for improvement
There are various ways for which effective communication skills can be enabled for an
individual. In light of the fact that communication had become a vital component of everyday
life whether approaching a personal or professional career. Following are some techniques on the
basis of which improvement can be made
 Body language: For effective communication skills, body language plays an important
role. As being involved in the process of communication suitable coordination is to be
established in reference to body response and expression while delivering a speech or
engaging with other individuals for communication.
 Being brief, yet specific: In inclusive of the technique, it is being said that, being specific
with the information also covering all relative points of discussion is to be treated as an

effective form of communication. This will avoid rambling or giving more than required

Skill overview: Logical thinking and creativity
It is being said that an individual with logical thinking and creativity skills will be often
seen as a conformer to established patterns and rules. Under the skill, it is being said that logic
connects two or more people and reframes their effective thinking process. An individual being
creative develops a critical path for developing effective standards on the basis of which a given
task can be performed. Reflecting on the case study, as Max, is a finance intern, stated skill is
one of the most important skills for which creative or comfortable techniques can be taken into
consideration (Noe and Kodwani, 2018). This skill will enable Max to perform better in terms of
managing databases, inputting information and maintaining records.
Importance of the skill
Contrasting to the contemporary world, there is the greater importance of logical thinking
and creative skill for an individual pursuing personal as well as professional career goals and
objectives. The stated skill will ensure a productive approach of an individual task being
assigned to an individual and regulate better ways for which objectives can be completed in a

For the reason being stated skill plays a crucial role in enhancing the abilities of an
individual in terms of performing tasks that are being allotted. By acquiring this skill, an
individual will be able to complete the desired set of tasks in a creative manner and meet the
specified deadline for the stated project (Sasson, Yehuda and Malkinson, 2018). Following are
some techniques for which Max can improve this type of skill as a finance intern;
 Open-minded: Being open-minded will deliver effective techniques in terms of
improving creative and logical skills. The stated technique will enable an individual in
terms of better performance of an allotted task in the most effective manner and in a
concise manner.
 Reframing issues: This technique will deliver with reframing of issue so appeared in the
working firm. Under the technique an individual is guided to reframe the issue if
appeared and derive an effective or best critical path in terms of delivering with creative
manner for solving the issue.
CONCLUSION
From the analysis of the above skill development proposal, it can be concluded that
communication and creative skills play a vital role in terms of shaping better approaches towards
personal as well as professional development skills. In addition to this, said proposal delivered
effective standards on the basis of which workforce can opt to its working environment and
comply with competitive standards in the business environment.
