Being a practical individual with several work experiences, I came to know a factual
contemplation of accounting which is stated to be the fundamental aspect of decision making in
all types of businesses. I am very much aspired to opt this field of finance and accounting to
further establish my own business someday. Both of these subjects are dynamic as well as fast-
paced that in turn necessitate the students to possess an adaptable behaviour. Also, it is a career
oriented degree that demands for flexible and intellectual students having technical proficiency
as well. It should be along with outstanding skills of information technology and communication,
where nowadays, the employers also pursuit for such advanced qualities in accounting
professionals, at the time of hiring. I am also awarded for scholarship by the ministry of higher
education in Saudi Arabia where I together have some prior work experiences. My major
subjects were directly related to some vital market parameters namely corporate finance and
governance, market microstructure, behavioural finance, asset pricing, economic consequences
of regulatory changes, etc.
All of these are apparent to assist businesses in the process of decision making to come up
with effective policies to be applied for earning profitable position in market. I thereby believe to
have a clear understanding of all these concepts with necessary skills of IT, numeracy as well
problem solving. I am hereby applying for bachelor’s degree program of Accounting and
Finance in Leicester University, UK. I consider it to be a leading university in the UK where it is
also known to be a research led university providing significant opportunities to students. It has
been consistently ranked among the top universities in UK. Moreover, I am very much self-
motivated towards taking work initiatives and believe in timely submission of work in an
organised manner. Besides this, I am a quick learner who together believes in constant
improvement of skills. I am hence requesting for a chance to become a part of this renowned
university by pursuing my bachelor’s degree in the academic field of accounting and finance.
