Introduction
In the present scenario, most of the businesses are based on the information
technology (IT), which has required for improving performance and productivity. In addition,
business processes can be managed using emerging technologies and innovations based on
the requirements (Belfo & Trigo, 2013). Financial management is necessary in the business.
Thus, it can be managed using accounting information system (AIS) as well. Moreover, AIS
will be the future of most of the industries for managing their accounting business processes
(Chang, 2011). This report will analyse and articulate business process. Besides, it will
provide role of AIS in enhancing business process design as well. In addition, Apex
Plumbing Ltd was founded in the year 2018. The firm has provided various services to their
customers including wholesale supplier of plumbing equipment and other services. This
report will provide strengths and weaknesses of the company and its business process model
as well.
Overview of the company
The company has based on the plumbing business, as it has supplied different
equipment for plumbing. It is a place for professional plumbers as well as home-improvement
centre (Darwin, 2016). the company has employed more than 200 people in the various
processes, such as warehouse, buyers, technical representative, sales and office staff. The
company is facing competition in the market from Robinson Ltd and Southern Plumbing
Supplies Ltd. Besides, the current information system has not supported the company.
In addition, 17 employees have worked as full-time workers. The company has
worked in traditional ways. Moreover, there are many good things in the systems, which are
better for the company. The company has used email and telephone for communication.
Customer’s order has manged using centralized sales order system (Draheim, 2010).
The company has managed data of their customers for better relationship in the future
as well. In addition, a clerk can manage sales operation in the warehouse department. The
clerk can send a copy to the sales department based on the requirement as well as shipping
department. All the inventory has updated from a single place (Gillett, 2016).
The shipping department has generated three copies of a bill, which is used with
goods and carrier. Most of the things can be used for managing internal resources as well.

Moreover, billing department clerk has appointed for generating two copies of the sales
invoice that are for customer and billing department (Gynther, 2014).
Role of accounting information system in business
In case of business process management, a company should use IT-based system for
improving their business processes. There are many best practices in the company that can be
more better using accounting systems, which are based on the IT as well. Besides, most of the
computer systems are older, which are working slowly. Thus, it is necessary to update
hardware and software systems (Hagerup, 2019).
AIS can manage all the things independently, which can reduce error in the system as
well. Most of the things can be managed using Accounting Information systems, which is
based on the Artificial intelligence and machine learning (Hall, 2012).
Moreover, there are many good things in the system that can be used for new business
processes as well. However, manual processes are less effective. In addition, automatic
processes can improve the speed and productivity. Besides, AIS can improve the supply
chain system as well (Harmon, 2019).
There are various detriments in the company that are working for managing sales,
billing and shipping works. Moreover, there is some manual work that is not good for the
management of sales system (Hoque, 2018).
In present scenario, company has used business process model that is good for
managing all the things. Business to customer model has used for managing such types of
things (Hosain, 2019).
In addition, there is some good strengths of the company, which can be used for
managing their work, ass all the data is stored in a proper manner. Moreover, there is some
good business processes that manage shipping and billing departments (Lim, 2013).
However, there is inefficiencies in the system that can be a reason of losses in the
business, such as feedback and reporting. It is a basic need of a business to take feedback
about their processes. In addition, most of the processes can be changed using business
processes (Longinus, 2018).

Relationship with stakeholders
Stakeholders have faced many issues in their processing. In addition, employees have
stored all the data in the general ledger file. Thus, it is necessary to manage all the things in a
proper manner. Shipping dependent should get faster response to deliver products as well
(Margherita, 2014).
Besides, it is necessary to improve the billing department, as it has stored all the data
in centralized database. All the file should be a single place to create centralized report of the
data as well. It will improve the quality of the system as well (Seethamraju, 2012).
An AIS is a structure that a built-in make use of to collect, keep, manage, process,
retrieve and record its built-financial built-in so it could be utilized by accountants, experts,
integrated analysts, managers, leader built-financial officials (CFOs), auditors, regulators, and
tax corporation.
The AIS are built-in integrated system. Besides, experts who may also want to use an
enterprise's AIS accountants, experts, built-in analysts, managers, chief monetary officers,
and auditors. An AIS enables the built-in integrated departments agency collectively.
Accounting is the language of commercial enterprise integrated. Its strategies use
numbers built-in a story approximately how your organization is built-in and cash. An
account integrate built-in built-in offers the syntax that built-in you to mean integrated fully
gather, arrange and built-interpret the facts account built-in numbers provide. This integrated
the spreadsheets built-in numbers and the agency systems govern built how book keep built-
in and account group of workers do their jobs. An accounting facts device can be homegrown
or professionally evolved. Its specifics be counted less than the other. It has to offer you with
the built-information you want, and prepare the records integrated methods which can be
built-in and available.
Business process re-engineering
Business processes can be created based on the new requirements. In addition,
business process re-engineering has used for managing new requirements. It will be better for
managing new processes design (Consultus, 2020).

Besides, re-engineering process can be used for handling all the things in a better way.
However, there are many changes in the business management. AIS system will solve the
issues of centralized data resources (Seethamraju, 2012).
Accounting systems may be automatic or manual. QuickBooks is the maximum
widely used accounting software program for small companies. Xero, Zoho and FreshBooks
are also broadly used, and feature capabilities especially beneficial to smaller built-in. these
structures have capability for commonplace built-in integrated account built-in strategies
built-in monitoring built-in account deposits and withdrawals, and built-in commonplace
reports together with balance sheets and integrated statements.

In conclusion, AIS system is helpful in the managing all the processes in a business.
Moreover, basic business processes can be improved using business process re-engineering.
Besides, it can be managed using all the processes. Most of the firms have used business
process model for managing their business functions as well. Moreover, there are many good
things in the business process model. It will help in the managing flow of the business
processes. Finally, AIS system has used for managing all the things. It will improve the
performance and accuracy of the system. It will improve the business processes in the future
as well.
