Why are you applying for your chosen course(s)?
My name is ……… I am applying for course of BA accounting and management. The
rationale behind selecting this course is that I want to gain knowledge about accounting and
management. This course will provide me dual knowledge about way to manage different tasks
in an organization as well as about recording financial transactions. In addition to this, I did
diploma in business management, therefore this course is best for me to pursue my next phase of
education. I did research on this course and found that it is one of the best course in current time
period due to its updated subjects and in depth knowledge for management & accounts.
Why does this subject interest you? Include evidence that you understand what’s required
to study the course.
I am interested in this subject because I have seen that in many companies’ various kinds
of obstacles raise due to lack of management and financial planning. It is interesting that how
many accounting irregularities and concessions caused the downfall of numerous consulting
companies like Arthur Andersen. These all inefficiency in these types of companies due to lack
of proper management. And the course which I am planning to pursue is an effective way to
learn about accounting and management. In current environment, only those graduates are
success who have dual knowledge. An individual cannot rely on limited knowledge or
information because competition is higher. In this field of study, there are no any other courses
which can offer such detailed information on two types of concept. Hence, I am not willing to
take any risk with my career and these are the reason due to which I am focused to pursue in this
course.
Why do you think you're suitable for the course(s)? Do you have any particular skills and
experience that will help you to succeed in the course(s)?
I think this course is suitable for me because as per the requirement of course, candidate
should be fluent in communication as well as should have basic knowledge for accounting. I
have all the skills which are needed.

Do your current or previous studies relate to the course(s) that you have chosen? If so,
how?
I did my previous study in diploma of business management which is linked with current
course. This is so because almost each subject of management is similar with my BA accounting
and management. Though, level can be different but stream is similar.
Have you taken part in any other activities that demonstrate your interest in the course(s)?
During my previous studies, I was interested to take participation in only those activities
which are related to business management and finance. I participated in various kinds of
activities such as business quiz, accounting quiz. In these quizzes I won many prizes.
Universities like to know the skills you have that will help you on the course, or generally
with life at university, such as accredited or non-accredited achievements.
During my past studies, I was excellent in playing football and in this game I won a
number of prices. I played different state tournaments and I won three out of five. In addition, I
was awarded by best captain during my final year.
Also think about any other achievements you’re proud of, positions of responsibility that
you hold or have held both in and out of school, and attributes that make you interesting,
special, or unique.
I was skipper of different kinds of functions and events which were used to organize in
each year. In these functions and events, I was awarded for best management skills and
coordination skills. It indicates that in this course I will be able to learn too fast and quick about
various subjects of finance and management.

My hobbies are exploring new places, making connections with friends, sketching,
playing outdoor games etc. Though, these all hobbies are not so unique and special but each of
them learn discipline, team leading skills. In addition to this, these hobbies are useful to gain
confidence in relation to talk with unknown personalities, sketching gives me an art of drawing
on basis of my own conscience. These hobbies have a link with my course which is related to
managing and leading serval tasks in a business.

I have done my internship from a reputed mobile manufacturing company in which I
learned about way to manage multiple tasks. As well as I was given opportunity to work in
finance department wherein, I managed some accounts like stock report, accounts receivable
report and many more.
Explain what you’ve been doing since leaving education and provide additional evidence to
support your application.
During diploma of business management in the final year session I was part of a
multinational company as a paid intern for more than two months. In this company, larger
number of operations were being performed and due to which I was able to gain way in which
manager of that company was organizing all activities and tasks. As well as I learned about role
of communication in that company and as a result now I am able to make an effective
coordination in any types of team or group. One key thing, which I learn during my internship
was to deal with obstacles that raise inside organizations due to internal inefficiency or any other
reason. It taught me about how to deal in complex situation without any damage.

course that is taught in English.
The reason for which I want to study in Richmond university is that this is one of the
famous university in the aspect of providing quality education. This institution is tailor made for
course of BA accounting and management. I did research about this university and found that all

the teaching staff is excellent and have detailed knowledge about course in which they are
specialist. Along with record of university is excellent in terms of providing placement in final
year. Though, my objective is not to get placement. I just want to learn about core concepts of
management and accounting which may lead to become a successful business man. In this
university, there is better facility of hostel and accommodation which can be useful for me to live
here. Apart from it, there are some other universities are also which are offering this course at
lower cost but their record is not good in terms of results and placement both. In comparative
manner, this university is best in terms of education, fees, other services. So these are the reasons
due to which I am willing to continue my rest of studies.
If you know what you’d like to achieve after completing the course, explain how you want
to use the knowledge and experience that you gain. How does the course relate to what you
want to do in the future?
After completing this course, I would like to start an own business in manufacturing
sector. Though, this types of business need a lot of experience and fund but I am confident that
my own skills and knowledge will defiantly help me in becoming a successful business man. I
have plan to start a small venture during beginning and with encompasses of time I will surely
try to expand it larger as much as possible. This will only become possible because of my course
which I am going to pursue with yours’ university. The course will provide me detailed
information about way to start a business along with way in which I can handle possible
obstacles.
