I am very excited to apply for this specific job role of Accounts Clerk or Officer in Regional
Express. I believe that I have the perfect skill sets that will help in achieving this specific job role
and am a qualified candidate for this job.
I am more than qualified for this job as I have already completed my 12th and am currently
pursuing accountancy in college. I have high knowledge of using Microsoft Excel for solving
various accountancy problems. I also have excellent communication skills which will help in
communicating with my seniors in a better way (Chen, & Akkeren, 2012).
Effective work would be provided by me even where there are large amounts of data that is to be
managed. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are clearly understood by me and I can
handle all of the aspects related to them.
By working in such a prestigious organisation I would be able to pursue by lifetime goals which
are to become a senior accounts analyst. I would learn a lot about what it takes to work in the job
role of a financial accountant and also could use the guidance of various seniors to pursue further
in my career.

Experience to meet the criteria
I believe that I have all of the skills and knowledge that is need to get the job. One of the criteria
that were mentioned is that the individual who is applying for the job is that they need to have
excellent high level of accounting skills as well as other personal skills. I have completed the
accountancy course in my college and am pursuing the MPA that will help in achieving the
criteria (Evans et. al. 2012).
The subjects which I have taken in college have helped me to be ready for such a job role. The
courses have taught me how accounts payable and receivable should be handled. They have also
taught me how to handle several accountancy books so that I can work also handle some of the
other job roles which are present. My course also taught me how to manage fixed assets which
are present in the organisation. But I do not have that much experience in the field and would
need to have proper training so that I do not make mistakes.
I work well with others whether it is in a team or help in assisting a senior person in some of
their work. Being well to collaborate with other means that I would work well with the other
employees to achieve the target that is set. I would also be able to assist my senior level of
employees with their work if they have too much of a workload present. Being to work well my
peers would establish the fact that there are also leadership qualities which I possess and would
help me in my future.
I also have the knowledge and skills that are needed to manage the books at the month's end.
This was taught to me by the courses which I have done and in them, a lot of practical questions
have made me ready to take on this job role. It was also mentioned that I would need to meet
work on deadlines. I am good at time management as I arrange my work according to its
necessity or urgency.

The future position that is to be attained in 10 Years
In the future I see myself working in a good finance organisation as a financial analyst.
Criteria Reference
To work in a different organisation so that
more experience is gained.
This will be done by seeing that I work in
different finance organisation with a target of a
minimum of 3 years. These firms include
Cogneeso and Bardaro & Falzone.
Earn a diploma in Accounting I would earn this from AUSTRALIAN
COLLEGE OF SKILLS & EDUCATION PTY
LTD.
Earn CPA (Certified Public Accountants ) I would prepare for the exams and give them
on a regular basis until they are not completed
(Yakın, & Erdil, 2012).
Timeline
To become a financial analyst there is a lot of work that would be required to be done by me.
This would be most likely to be achieved in three years.
During the first three years, I would work for a Cogneeso so that I could acquire experience so
that my7 skills and knowledge could increase. This would also help in getting a clearer picture of
how I am going to achieve my goal. But it needs to be kept in mind that the goal should not
change along the way.
The next step would be to earn a diploma in the one year from the university. This is being done
in order to attain a higher level of position because it would help me in reaching my goal. By
having this degree I would get a higher position in the organisation thus increasing my
competence for the position.
This would be a total of 4 years. The next three years I would try to get into and work into one of
the best reputed firms in the country which is Bardaro & Falzone. This would help in getting
more accustomed to the work being done in the sector. After the three years, I would give the
CPA exams and hopefully qualify that would make sure my post in any organisation for the
future would be a senior financial analyst. The exams which I would give would be given two
times as I would not qualify for them in my first try cause studying and work both would have to
be given time (Van Akkeren et. al. 2013).
