Part 1
I have gathered useful experiences in accounting and assurance areas while at work,
university, and self-study programs. While working as an Uber rider, I innovatively designed
business plans to promote newly-issued financial schemes. Additionally, I maintained financial
records, managed budgets, conducted risk assessments, and performed business strategy reviews.
My job experience as an Uber rider has equipped me with skills to prepare audits and work
effectively with the audit team. My professional aptitude proved fruitful in Uber Rider, where I
boosted the Company's revenue, by identifying weak internal controls.
Self-study has empowered me to be open-minded and adapt to different conditions. It has
also taught me organizational, communication, time management, and decision-making skills. I
can thus maintain and develop financial systems and accounting procedures correctly. I can also
prepare financial statements appropriately and also keep correct books of accounts.
Studying accounting in my undergraduate equipped me with the knowledge that can
enable me to prepare books of accounts efficiently. Therefore, I am able to adapt to routine tasks
in both accounting and assurance areas within a short time. The university also inculcated in me
qualities of accountants, such as innovation, trust, dedication, adaptability, focus, and
cooperation. The university also gave me an opportunity to be part of an internal audit team,
where I learned methods of collecting audit evidence and also how to write audit reports. I can
thus conduct a successful audit and form a reliable opinion. I also learnt how to evaluate
investments by utilizing available information to mitigate the risk of making loses.

I am interested in working with accounting and assurance department of PwC because I
am passionate about accounting and assurance. The accounting and assurance department has
been generating the highest amount of revenue in PwC. Accounting and assurance areas will
allow me to relate various skills and abilities to several types of businesses in the financial
service industry.
PwC offers a training and development program towards chartered accountants. The
robust learning curriculum will enable me to integrate with the auditing and assurance team.
Additionally, the training and development program will inculcate knowledge that will improve
my skills. Moreover, the program will equip me with experience and techniques of adapting to
different conditions by working in a multicultural environment and solving problems across
borders.
PwC actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility by combating climate change,
donating basic needs, offering scholarships, participating in volunteer activities, and embracing
ethical values. Therefore, I can take part in volunteer activities to impact society and also add
value to the Company. Employees of PwC are highly satisfied, and thus it is an attractive
workplace that will provide me with an unforgettable experience in my career.
PwC is a prominent company in assurance and accounting areas suggesting that it has
outstanding leadership. Therefore, working in a competitive company will enable me to improve
my skills by learning from competent personnel. I will also gain the experience of working with
various clients in various industries. Therefore, I will learn the dynamics of accounting and
auditing different industries.
