Capability Audit:
I begun working at the Head Kitchen Hand left bank which is one of the largest banks in France.
It has several other branches in other countries. Due to my hard work, I started working in this
function as from the 2nd February 2017. I have also done various volunteer courses in other
institutions just to boost up my experience. “Be passionate, be courageous, be your best”.
(Gabrielle Gifford’s).
My volunteer ship experience started as a team coordinator in the city of Melbourne. I have
managed to become among the youngest team coordinators of Left Bank in the city of
Melbourne. I have valuable experience also gathered from ticket selling and a help desk
specialist. My roles as a help desk specialist included; keeping the customers happy. Responding
to the queries either in person or on phone, provide technical assistance and support from
incoming issues and queries relating to everything including systems software and hardware.
As a help desk specialist, I introduced new ideas which were very efficient in customer service. I
introduced the dial a customer back service, which aims at dialling the customer to get customer
feedback on services delivered. I organized meetings and assisted in developing team
management skills and leadership skills. While volunteering in ticket sales, I learnt a great deal
to do with customer satisfaction. A satisfied customer will always come back. I become a better
leader while in ticketing sales volunteer ship job. On tickets together with my team, I innovated a
better solution to getting tickets online at a faster process than the normal. On innovation,” A
leader is the one who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way” John C Maxwell.

I have been confronted with many situations that are difficult in terms of showing qualities of a
good leader. While working as a volunteer for ticket sales and a help desk specialist, my
communication skills and problem solving skills greatly helped in deflating the tension. Working
while studying has helped me get the multi-tasking skills which is greatly needed in
workplaces.” During my time as a help desk specialist, there were times when we had internal
conflict with fellow colleagues on how to deal with issues from customers. With my negotiation
skills and merit, I took the risk and the outcome was very beneficial in settling the differences. I
had the chance to settle other emerging issues from there onwards. Professionally, I am versatile
and adaptable which has been proven by me working in different fields.
Action Plan for Skill Gap
Although I am an undergraduate taking accounting, this is the one field that I have had least
experience in, especially in accounting software’s like QuickBooks. The action plan I have is to
study a fresh on the accounting software’s. I am looking at addressing this issue through looking
for some videos on this software on YouTube and probably enrol myself in a part-time study in
learning the accounting software. I am looking forward in joining an established training institute
to complete the course. Also, I am looking to contact the local accounting firms for volunteer
ship to enhance my practise in learning QuickBooks. I believe by doing this, the action plan will
assist me greatly in filling the skills gap and encourage me to use QuickBooks software in my
future endeavours.
