1. You are required to choose an organisational goal and conduct
a meeting of the organisation’s team of staff to communicate
this goal and the team’s contribution in achieving the goal.
You need to ensure that you:
a. Clarify the team’s objectives in in relation to the
organisation's strategic direction/goal
To become a bestselling product in the local
community
Launch different kind of products which are new for
the customers
Provide best service to the customers
Lunch promotional activities
b. Establish linkages between organisational objectives,
values and standards and the responsibilities of the team
and individuals
The organisation objectives, values and standards are inter
related with each other. In my perspective, the objectives
are the primary source where the organisation creates
value for customers and maintain the standard to achieve
their desire goal. Therefore, the responsibilities apply to
the employee when the organisation set up objective. In
that regards, employee needs to create value and standard
for the organisation. For an example, the organisation
wants to be the most selling store in the local community.
In that case, the organisation creates value by building up
reputation. On the other hand, the organisation maintains
standard with providing best quality product.

c. State clearly the expectations of the team and
individuals and encourage commitment from the team
There is often an expectation from within leadership that
employees should observe and engage in a healthy work –
life balance. The expectations would be to define sound
and workable time boundaries such as meeting time
commitments and punctuality while observing that
employees are private individuals with their own needs
outside of the workplace. Work-life balance can also be
enhanced with the organisation providing and enabling
supportive work environments that allows for a free
exchange of ideas.
d. Address the expectations of the organization
Personal integrity is linked to loyalty to the company and is
best displayed when responsibilities are discharged in an
unbiased, professional and ethical manner. The
organisation, in promoting personal integrity, will show
these within policies, systems and procedures published in
areas such

primary source where the organisation creates value for
customers and maintain the standard to achieve their desire
goal. Therefore, the responsibilities apply to the employee when
the organisation set up objective. In that regards, employee
needs to create value and standard for the organisation. For an
example, the organisation wants to be the most selling store in
the local community. In that case, the organisation creates value
by building up reputation. On the other hand, the organisation
maintains standard with providing best quality product.
The organisation makes policy and procedure for maintaining a
standard to run a business. The policy and procedure have to
maintain by the employees because those instructions are
written by the administration to maintain the organisational
standards. For example, the meat products temperature has to
be less than 5 degree. Frozen products should not be kept
outside less than 30 mins from fridge.
The advertisement is the
place where the relevant
media and language need to
be used. The organisation
provides promotional
activities through media which
helps to increase the sales.
For example, place sign board
in front of the train and
platform.
As part of your media plan,
mentioned above, have within
it the methods and practices
you feel will build good
relations with the media.
1. You may have strategies in
place for general media
communications and crises, or
other counter measures.
2. Look at how you will best
handle the before and after of
a decision or process, if it’s big
enough to attract media
attention.
3. Make sure you practice

media relations by training
staff/stakeholders or other
designated representatives in
media communications and
protocols.
4. Role playing prior to an
interview, for example, might
help put you at ease for the
real questions.
Individuals or groups cannot (usually) predict leadership
communication as it related to objectives, standards and values,
so to get everyone looking at these issues from a similar, if not
always identical, perspective is the objective here. The objective,
as stated, is to communicate your expectations clearly, in a way
they can be obviously heard, and understood. The difficulty
expressed by people quite often is the inability to internalise the
detail. Not surprisingly, this is equally clear when objectives,
standards and values can be presented in a complex manner.
When addressing roles of a specific or technical nature, besides a
clear presentation of language, you need a large amount of
relevancy. What is within the scope of work and what is not must
be fully understood as it applies to the individual. You may
extend this detail to include areas such as what productive work
is, according to the organisation’s vision and what is not
Providing structure starts with defining a direction and setting
the boundaries of your comments clearly. Your direction of these
comments may stem from your own vision or that of a collective
group of stakeholders, but in either case you are stating facts
which need to be accomplished for the future. This is best

served, as with the context of objectives, standards and values,
as part of the business culture. If your business culture is strong
and generally accepted, you can relate to those qualities to build
further commitment to the organisation. It is not always
necessary to stress the “commitment” to the organisation, it may
be sound and as you would expect, but the end result of any
delivery of such important information as objectives, standards
and values would logically relate back understanding and
acceptance.
Examples Issues and Expectations
Environmental management Without expectations of diversity
and equal opportunity the
organisation and its people would
not function adequately. Often
there are other people
expectations where there is a
multi-cultural or diverse work
force. The people reference may
include policies and procedures
which recognise the development
and promotion of employees with a
clear expectation that this is based
on competency and capability.
Workplace health and safety There is often an expectation from

Product safety Areas of high expectation will
normally involve areas that include
information that is provided or
given in a factual manner.
Expectations in these areas would
require employees or management
alike to ensure that company
information is neither opinionated
nor meant to drive a premeditated
or personal outcome. The
organisation would expect
employees to be honest in all
communications and not be fearful
of consequences if this expectation
is met. Open and candid feedback
dignifies people and creates room
for improvement. Complaining,
criticising, gossiping and back
biting creates conflicts and
damages relationships
irretrievable.

Even, any employee can work other departments if they
want. The employee gets lot of flexibility in their workplace.

in decision making in line with risks management
plans

account needs and expectations of both internal and

department. I give them instruction what need to do and
what kind of steps we should take to solve the problem. For
an example, the area manager comes to visit our store. In
that case, I always alert all employees what to do. I divide
all the tasks to the employees. So I believe that in that
way, I manage all the tasks properly.

member actively participates, encouraging discussion
between individuals or teams of employees with immediate
