ACTIVITY 2
“I can understand your concern and I think you can be enrolled easily if you study properly, but
do not stress yourself. Proper sleep and study accordingly can enrol you in the graduation
school.”
Group Discussion
In terms of making someone uncomfortable in a job interview can be advantageous for
the interviewer, as it will help the interviewer to understand the capability of the person’s
situational management skills. Moreover, I think the operation based jobs such as the
management post jobs require people to react quickly under stress. In terms of my experience
regarding the job interviews I can reflect and conclude that the situational management skills and
the critical thinking capabilities are very much required to manage and get over the situation. As
per the motivational and the energising speech delivery by certain people, I can reflect that the
speeches are helpful in motivation development. However, I also feel that these speeches are
motivating though these cannot help a person achieve the lasting change if the person is not
capable of changing the situations of them.
My helping strengths are I can listen actively and also critically analyse the issues as
well. Based on the issues I can deliver people proper way to understand and change the situation.
I think these are my best capability or strength and I do not lose these competences. On the other
hand, I can state that I have learnt the computer program skills in a gradual way and developed
the skills with step by step learning. The steps in the skill development are learning, evaluating
and practicing. Moreover, I did not self-critical and there were no negative thoughts grew in my
mind as well as I was eager to learn the skills.
