PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Introduction
Any bodily movement which uses energy performed by the skeletal
muscles is known as Physical activity. The lack in physical activity is
found as one of the leading reason for the death on 6th number in the
world. Physical inactivity is also becoming the reason behind cancer.
The individual who are performing regular physical activity are getting
benefits which are mentioned below:
The risk of hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart attack,
diabetes, strokes etc. is minimized
The improvement in functionality of bones
It also helps the individual in controlling weight.
Data and Statistics
In London with the latest survey conducted by National Active Lives
survey according to which 37% people of London failed to achieve
the benefit of physical activity including well being in mental and
physical health.
In London it was found that the mostly age group between 18-44
years are prefer to perform physical activities.
86% people of London walks in a week for any reason.
In London15% adults prefer to use cycle once in a month and 9%
prefer to use cycle in a week.
Conclusion
Hence by the analysis of above data and the study physical activity
plays critical role in health and by performing it many diseases can be
prevented. Although while performing any physical activity the
individual should discuss it with the experts that which activity is
suitable for their health.

Physical health indicators are updated by the Public health England with
the active live data which supports the local monitoring opposing the
government strategy which was applied for sports and the
recommendation which were made by the chief medical officer. The cost
which was calculated for the physical activity by NHS all over U.K. was
0.9 billion pounds every year.
A Framework was designed entitled as ‘Everybody active, every day’ by
PHE. It was a national evidence which was based for providing support
to all of those sectors which are embedded with the physical activity for
daily life.
