The present aims at determining how a child develops an understanding towards the environment and develops a strong sense of identity. For the same, the
educators need to respond with positivity with respect to the queries associated with children, they should also support the children where they feel unfamiliar and
should make them feel comfortable and let them express their views, opinions, in order to develop a strong sense of identity within the children.
Describe your activity:
In order to develop a strong sense of identity within children, the educators will talk to them in a respectful manner and make them understand about the diversity
that exist within society. They will talk to them about similarities and the different sorts of differences within the people and help them determine the features that
make them stand out from other children. For the same, the educators can make them work and play in team and group that include diverse children.

[In order to support the children in their play and learning, I will play with them too. In the games such playing a role of the cartoon character, I will initiate the
game , I will mimic a character and provide the children with relevant options from which they will have to answer. Similarly, I will play puzzle games them. This
will help them to develop a comfortable attitude towards me as well as the other children and help them their social and cognitive development.

What discussion took place between you and the children?
While playing with the children, the educator determined the problems the children were facing such as they were unable to recognise the characters initially.
They were also feeling shy when they were asked to act in front of everyone. In order to make them feel comfortable and get them interact, I joined the process
and helped them while playing their part.
How did you interact with those children who chose not to participate in the activity?
The children who were not participating in the activities, the educator should interact with them and develop a bond with them. In order to make them participate,
it is essential that the educator first develop a sense of trustworthiness within them.
