INTRODUCTION
Personal development is becoming very important for every individual as they can able to
achieve their goals and objectives (Howard, 2019). In today's environment, it is crucial for an
individual that they should be prepare for the future uncertainties. This is not only helpful for
individual but also for organisation. In organisations, employees can improve their employability
skills and personal skills. This will assists in enhancing their career and opportunities of success.
This report will be discussing current business issue and and a reflective writing. In addition to
this, it will also discuss personal development plan.
MAIN BODY
PART 1 – REPORT
In today's business environment, it is identified that every day the challenges problems
raises in the path of company. It is significant to identify all the business issues which gives a
great impact on the success and growth of an organisation. Every company knows that there is a
direct or indirect impact of business issue on the organisational operations and performance.
That's why it is necessary to find out so that they can make relevant solution for them. So there is
a discussion of problem which are mentioned below:
Business issue
In the era of technology, every organisation needs to focus on adapting new technologies
in their organisation so that they can gain competitive advantage in the market. It is found that
adapting new technologies is becoming an important issues in these days (Fanelli, 2021). The
reason behind this is adaptation of new technologies is not an easy task as it requires lots of
efforts and mind of experts so that they can able to use that technology. Every organisation
knows that employees are resistant to change so it becomes tough or difficult for an organisation
to adapt new technology in their organisation. In addition to this, adaptation is also becomes
difficult for employees as they have no knowledge about use of new technologies. It is found that
organisation also face a problem of lack of professionals who have the knowledge that how they
can use new technologies in the workplace environment. This is very important for an
organisation that they need to identify all three issues so that they will be able to make solutions.

In the adaptation of new technologies in organisation, companies are also facing issues of
financial problems as they are expensive. In the same time, it is necessary for an organisation
that they should adapt new technologies so that they can survive in the market. In order to run
the business in market, it becomes very important for an organisation to use new technologies as
it assists them to stay in market for long term period.
How companies are reacting
It is found that companies are in pressure as they are not able to adapt changes in the
organisation. Due to complexities in adapting changes in the workplaces. They are unable to gain
competitive advantage. It is found that most of the times company feel pressurizing and because
of that they are unable to accept changes (Hoang and et.al., 2019). New technologies adaptation
is not easy for an organisation according to the companies as it ultimately accept by employees.
Generally employees are resistant to change and because of that companies are not in a
confidence to accept change. Every employees is not accepting new technologies as they are in
comfort in old technologies. They don't want to transform themselves and due to this company is
not able to respond positively for adaptation of new technologies. But it becomes the necessity of
company to adapt new technologies. This is the reason that company forcefully adapt new
technologies. This will results in ineffective use of new technologies. In companies, they are not
having enough and effective training program which assists employees to accept the change in
the organisation. This can be better understand with the help of an example. The current situation
of pandemic forces organisation to do remote working ad due to this every employee had to
adapt new technologies such as Zoom for the meeting purpose and many more software. But it is
found that employees are not happy as they felt that they are not comfortable to use new
technologies.
After analysing the business issue, it is analysed that employees are the main reason for
non effective use of new technologies. That's why it is necessary for an organisation to
understand the importance of employees and try to transform their behaviour for adapting new
technologies (Shishkin and Zasimova, 2018). For that purpose, company should provide
effective training programs which helps in building a culture that always ready for adopting new
technologies. In addition to this, companies need to recruit experts who have all knowledge of
using new technologies in the workplaces. This will assists in reducing the problems and

challenges of company. It also encourages employees to adapt new technologies in the
workplaces.
PART 2 – REFLECTIVE WRITING
I identified that adaptation of new technologies is very important for organisations as
well as for their employees. The reason behind this is company become successful business in
the market which gain maximum profits and revenues. In individual life, adaptation of new
technologies is important as they become competitive in the market which results in increasing in
career growth opportunities (Orlov and et.al., 2018). I learned from my experience that
companies should make their culture in such a way which encourages people to adapt and use
new technologies. I also learned that competition in business environment is increasing rapidly
and it becomes one of the important reasons for adapting new technologies. I learned that it
becomes an important issues for business as they are unable to adapt new technologies in an
efficient way.
From this experience, I found that I learnt many new knowledges as I got to know many
new things which I cannot know before this experience or learning. I also analysed that it
improves my knowledge as well as skills. With the understanding of business issues, I found that
there are many more issue which faces by organisation. I also got to know that how companies
are reacting in order to deal with these issues. This becomes very helpful for in order to boost my
new knowledge. Formerly, I thought that companies doesn't want to adapt new technologies. But
after understanding of this module, I got to know that there are many more reason that why
company is not getting successful in order to adapt new technologies. This is very important for
employees that they should understand the importance of adapting new technologies as it helps
not only organisation but also employees can gain competitive advantage (Faris, 2018). I didn't
know about that but because of this learning now I know that adaptation of new technologies is
crucial so that they can increases the chances of success.
This learning will be become very helpful in future studies as well as development plans.
I found that my experience will be very helpful for me as it assists in increase the career
opportunities. I know that I will work in an organisation and because of that it is necessary for
me to understand the use new technologies. I found that it becomes significant for me as it

increases my employability skills. I analysed that there are many organisations in the market
which wants to recruit professionals who are expert in technical skills. Due to this, I analysed
that this experience will helps me to make my bright career. I will be able to add value for the
organisation which provides me extra benefits as I will be able to make my position in the
organisation. In generally, every person should know the use of new technologies and ready for
adapting new technologies. It is really helpful for me as I can improve my technical skills also.
