unusual activities and mistakes. Therefore, a proper strategy and guidance is required for
students to overcome this disorder (Advokat & Scheithauer, 2013).
Strategy to tackle the issue related to ADHD
As per the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the doctor should focus on
evaluate the behaviour problems of the student and identify the issue related to inattention,
impulsivity, or hyperactivity etc. The parents and teachers of the student should also care and
monitor the abnormal activities of the children, which are related to ADHD (Martin, 2012).
The doctor should also care about the report from student’s children, parents, school staff,
and friends about the activity of the student. The first thing needs to be done to manage and
treat ADHD is to provide training to the parents to identify behaviour of the children and
manage their self-focused behaviour. In schools teacher can organise the behavioural
classroom interventions where students can learn how they should behave and manage the
issue related to ADHD (Sayal, Prasad, Daley, Ford & Coghill, 2018).
In conclusion, if the student have serious problem related to ADHD then teachers or
medical practitioners can help them out to address the issues related to ADHD by identifying
their changed behaviour and provide guidance to get significant improvement in the
behaviour of children. However, if the parents and teacher both will work together to identify
and manage ADHD in children then it can be controlled, managed, and prevented in the
children and drive them towards the success.
