Recent research on human research factors has shown gradual shift on the focus from
rational, top-down decision making to the role of planning system as an integrative,
communicative device and a key coordinating mechanism for different kinds of strategic
decision making. Strategic Planning Research thus depends on the social and political
integrations of decision making process over the strategy making process. The different types of
the researchers have discussed beyond the process of planning and focus instead of what the
actors involved in the strategic planning commits easily. Rather, the researchers now focus on
how members of the organization enact strategic planning, that is, what people actually do during
planning episodes and how strategic planning can help to achieve integrated strategy making and
strategic coordination. There are main three trends in the recent research on the role of the

Analytics, talent Analytics and also the people Analytics. The use and implementation of the
human resource technology helps in the collection, manipulation and reporting of a diverse type

Summary of 3rd Article
Firms use different types of mergers and acquisitions to increase their growth in the
market and venture into new lands. It also helps them to capture a particular part of the market
share. However most of the strategies formulated by the management of the organizations fail in
the midway. The following study emphasizes the use of the HRM perspective to make important
contributions to the M&A. The HRM perspectives help the business organizations to perform
their jobs, structure an easy layoff, manage the resources and fulfil different kinds of firm level
objectives.
