1ADVANCED MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWS
Dear management,
I would like to inform you that I want to conduct a motivational interview for some
specific employees of your organisation. Motivational Interviewing is a counselling approach
which is designed by two clinical psychologists William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick. This
strategy is totally client centric. It can be applied in many conditions like obesity treatment,
improvement of behaviours, improvement of diet and many others. Many counselors use this
procedure to provide motivation to the specific clients. It may affect the treatment of the client
(Charles et al., 2020). This approach helps to improve the behaviour of the clients and it leads to
the effective output to the client. It affects the characteristics of the specific client. It is
recommended that psychological counselor should focus on the behaviour of his or her client. It
may hamper the treatment procedure.
In your company, there are lots of employees who belong to the ethnic categories. They
need the treatment for their mental health treatment. As a counselor, I shall be very careful while
implementing the strategy of motivational interview. It is seen that they are harassed by the other
employees within an organisation. As a result of that, they become demotivated. For that reason,
counseling is necessary. It will help the ethnic employees of your organisation to motive in their
work. It helps to improve the production of your organisation. It will create a friendly
environment within the organisation premises. It will provide the equal rights to all the
employees within the organisation.
In your organisation, male and female staffs are identified properly and they should make
separate groups. Female staffs are very sentimental. For that reason, motivational interviewing is
conducted in such a manner that they should not be disappointed. Keeping this in mind, I shall

20% is facing mental disorder in their professional career. In my opinion, male staffs from your
organisation are also facing same issues. For that reason, I shall arrange a special counseling for
the male employees of your organisation. It will help them to get rid off from the mental disorder

work, so that they can grow professionally.
