Introduction
Ronson (2015) in the article entitled “How One Stupid Tweet Ruined Justin Sacco’s Life
discusses the ways in which the communications within the various social media might lead to
the outrageous condition within the society at large. The concerned article tends to deal with the
various ways in which a single lame joke on any sensitive issue might cost the concerned person
his or her job and the normal flow of life. The concerned article further focusses on the various
ethical breaches that might have occurred within the concerned organization due to the improper
communication on the part of the concerned person over the various social media handles.
Question 1
The various conditions that are related to the matters that pertain to the improper and
inconsiderate messages over the social media have many a times resulted in the conditions that
have been related to the public shaming of the person who has tweeted the statement. The ethical
issues that are related to this matter are those that have been pertaining to the public shaming of
the person generally results in the conditions that lead to the concerned person receiving death
threats as well from the concerned group that has been targeted in the messages (Fuchs, 2017).
The other ethical issues that are involved in these matters pertain to the conditions related to the
PTSD that is faced by the concerned person as a result of the public shaming that is related to
these matters (McKee, 2013). The concerned person might face huge issues in the matters that
pertain to their social lives due to the various furious backlashes that have been received by the
concerned person on the messages that he or she might have shared over the concerned social
media.

The concerned companies might be advised to take to the same social media portal to
disclose to the concerned stakeholders the fact that the business organization might not possess
the same thoughts as is shared by the concerned employee of the organization. This might help
the concerned organization to maintain a clarity regarding the matters that pertain to the
viewpoints as are shared by the certain employees of the organization and not that of the
organization as a whole (Squires, 2014). This might help the discussed organization to deal with
the matters that pertaining to the backlashes that have been faced by the concerned organization
and might further help in the matters that relate to the maintenance of the loyalty of the clients of
the company thereby affecting the goodwill of the firm in a positive manner.

The concerned person in discussion, Justin Sacco had posted some racist comments on
her Twitter platform. She had posted it as a joke but however had faced a huge backlash over the
social media due to the same. She had to face the consequences of losing her job as a result of
the joke that she had posted (Ronson, 2015). The company in discussion might be argued to have
taken the correct step by firing her from the job since this is an issue that involves racism against
the various other employees of the organization who might belong to the area that Justin Sacco
had belittled in her tweet. This action on the part of the organization might help in the matters
that pertain to the lowering of the attrition rate within the concerned company. This might also
help in the matters that pertain to extending the assurance on the part of the organization towards

organize meetings and training sessions within the organization so as to deal with the various
matters that pertain to the factors that have been relating to the discrimination among the

(Cleland & Cashmore, 2014). The organization might also be advised to promote the cultural
diversity within the employees of the organization on the basis of the cultural diversity and the
racial diversity that exists among the various employees of the company. The managerial body of
the business organization might tend to implement strict measures in case the incidents are
repeated in the future. The company might also be advised to hold frequent meetings with the
employees on the concerned organization in order to avoid such situations in the future.
