INTRODUCTION
Quality management is a part of strategic management tool which is used to measure quality
of projects and improve the performance and efficiency of organization by using tools of
quality management. In today’s dynamic word where it is hard to manage all the data
managers needs advance tools of quality management to maintain quality as well as help in
storing data. In this report various tools of advance management system for measuring
quality and improvement of productivity of the company has been describe clearly.
TASK 1
Explanation of how to improve the measurement and product quality within the organization
Quality management: It is the control of all transformation process of an organization to best
satisfy their customer’s needs in the most economic manner. It will uses to improve quality and
will help in innovation of new products and feature within the organization.
Measuring quality of products and equipment is not easy business organization use
following tools and methods to which help in measurement of service quality of the product
SERVQUAL: It is one of the useful methods of measuring service quality of production.
With a surveys company can identify service quality of their equipment and can inspect in
their house. It includes reliability, durance of assets responsiveness, on the basis of all the
facts managers can evaluate and inspect quality of their product (Zanobini, Sereni, Catelani
and Ciani, 2016).
Mystery Shopping: This technique is used to analysis the perception of customers related to
goods for inspection of quality manager can hire undercover customers and they test quality
of the product of the Sunshine Limited
Post Service Rating: In this type of method managers provides services to their customer to
give them feedback after using product of the company, they use different rating scale to
their customers so that they can give and measure quality of the product according to their
perception.

In-App Survey: In this method company use digital plate form to identify measurement of
product for this purpose they provides option to the customers they asked related to how
visitor rate company’s product.
Documentation Analysis: It will help to manage and store all the data. Managers compare
and analysis performance and inspect quality of product on the basis of document made by
managers. It will help in providing accurate data and will useful for supervision process.
Cause and effect diagram: In this method manager identify the causes of problem arises
in product and effect of all the problems (Lisi, 2015).
Check sheet: This tool of project quality help in measuring the data on the basis of check
list. Manager will supervise and inspect all the products and tools of company.
Control chart: Graph and diagram are prepared to analysis how process used to change
over time. For this purpose they compare current data with past records to control limits
and leads to conclusion whether the procedure is consistent or unpredictable.
Histogram: This technique is used to identify frequency distribution it will help in
inspection of all the necessary information related to the products and process of
manufacturing it.
Pareto chart: This method is used for determining factor and source used for
manufacturing process and equipment used and effect quality of product.
Scatter diagram: This diagram will help in identifying relationship between variable of
production process it will help in identifying positive and negative effect of all the factors uses in
the process
Stratification: This technique is used for gathering of data from variety of sources so it will help
in providing data related to the sources.
Methods of enhancing quality of product:
For enhancing quality and performance six sigma tools can be used by managers for , it is

2

Process mapping: It is also known as process charting or flow charting .It is one of the oldest
simplest valuable techniques for streaming work. It is also sublet and require experienced
facilitator for best result.
XY matrix: This matrix is used to link customer requirements to process inputs. It is simply a
group of rows and columns with set one of increments marked along the X axis and another set
of increments marked along the Y axis.
Measurement system analysis: It determine wheatear or not organization can take certain
measurement and repeat or reproduced it among different people which take the same
measurement.
4) Process Capability Tool: As business organization come to the end of the Measure phase in
MAIC/DMAIC, the last tool manager deploy is vitally important. Process capability, is the
measure of a process being able to meet specification requirements and fulfil customer CTQ
needs on a long-term basis. It's great that manager can identify, measure, and fix something
immediately, but to really reap the benefits, you must make that fix last. Organization remember
their field goal kicker? Manager was capable of putting the ball through the uprights, but over
time his accuracy had faltered and his kicks veered left and right. That's whythis tool use
capability metrics: to find out whether or not we're going to hit the target without variation over
time (Blasco and an. et 2017).
5) Multivariate Study: As organization begin the Analyse "phase of MAIC / DMAIC, manager
may use multivariate studies to identify the significant inputs and characterise the process. They
need to know how the inputs affect the output capabilities of the process. Multivariate studies
look at sources of variation within a piece or a batch, variation from piece to piece, and variation
related to time to discern which one contributes the most to that variation. They characterise the
process baseline capability while in production mode to collect the data. The data is then
analysed to determine the capability, stability, and relationships between key inputs and outputs.
6) Hypothesis Testing: As manager continue in the Analysis phase, the next tool at their
disposal is the hypothesis test tool. Actually, it's not so much a tool as it is an approach -
procedures for making rational decisions about possible causes of a given effect. Hypothesis
testing statistically compares things to determine a probability value and isolate the guilty
parties. One of the ways to test hypotheses is through simulations.

7) Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA): Failure mode and effect analysis is a tool that
examines potential product or process failures, evaluates risk priorities, and helps to determine
remedial actions to avoid identified problems. The spreadsheet format allows easy review of the
analysis. Failure mode and effect analysis is primarily a quality planning tool (Gaiotto, Laudani,
Fulginei, and Salvini, 2015).
8) Design of Experiments: It is a systematic approach to investigation of a system or process. A
series of structured tests are designed in which planned changes are made to the input variables
of a process or system. The effects of these changes on a pre-defined output are then assessed.
DOE is important as a formal way of maximising information gained while resources required.
9) Control Plan: Business organization use this tool in concluding phase of DMAIC/MAIC, the
Control phase. The last tool use is the control plan, which provides a written description of the
system to control parts and processes. But a control plan is far more than a recitation of facts and
steps. It improves quality by doing a thorough evaluation of process characteristics and variation
sources. It helps to increase customer satisfaction by focusing resources on process and project
characteristics that are important to customers. It improves communication by identifying and
communicating changes in process characteristics, control method, and characteristic
measurement.
CONCLUSION
From the above analysis it has been concluded that in order to improve quality and measure
performance of each process and product of the organization, manager need to use advance
quality management and six sigma tools through which they can enhancing their
performance and manage all the data related to their organization. It will also help in
providing essential detail related to organization and control cost and future risk of the
organization. By using all these tools company can maintain their sustainability within the
market.
