significant and ideal to set an effective human rights guide and eradicate evils against
discrimination of rights in the society. In the mid 19th century there was also an introduction to
the International Labor Organization to look after the worker's rights at the workplace (Cunneen

which they were concerned of raising the high standard for there country in terms of

etc.
2. Disability Discrimination Act 1992 - This act aimed to get rid of discrimination against
the people who are disabled. This act provides all the fundamentals and necessary rights
to the disabled people. This law also ensures that disabled persons have the same rights to
equality before the laws as other peoples have in the community.
3. Age Discrimination Act 2004 - This act ensures that the people of Australia do not treat
less favorably because of the age. Age discrimination is not allowed under the various
areas of public life like in education, employment, provision of goods and services, also
in some health programmes, etc.
4. Sex Discrimination Act 1984 - This acts promotes the equality between men and women.
This act helps to remove racialism on the basis of sex. This acts also provide safety to the
