A brief overview of Self-Reflection
The self-reflection reflects over the learning and experiences that has been gained from the
assessment of overall weeks in regards to the lecturers provided by tutor. Self-reflection is
known as the systematic procedure which is aimed at determining the skills and learning gained
from the study and lectures. Moreover, the personal thinking and experiences have been shared
in this assignment which is discussed below. In addition to this, the report highlights over the
skills and knowledge which has been enhanced and improved during the respective project study.
Effectiveness and usefulness of learning experience
From the subject matter of all weeks and study I learned various things, concepts, applications
which are used in the business research as well as can be applied to the respective assignment.
From the week I was able to make sound judgment regarding the approaches and methods used
in the research study and also which method is suitable for the respective assignment. As per my
opinion I think the lectures were very useful and effective when it comes to the systematic study
of research report. I learned about the cross-sectional, experimental, case study and others. These
methods are very useful in my future course of action as well. The social media is an emerging
issue and challenge for organizations that are seeking for the overall growth and development.
The business research helps in providing of valid arguments and concepts relating to such
practices. From the study, I can find out the various benefits of using social media and can
formulate effective social media strategies that can be for sake of company in terms of its growth
and expansion. I can have a marketing and business analyst’s career due to the respective study
and make my career in such field.
Application of new knowledge that convert the academic knowledge to practical
considerations
Along with the academic knowledge the research study is useful in terms of practical
consideration for my future course of action as well. I am able to convert the academic
knowledge gained directly with my future career. I was able to put the theoretical knowledge into
the practical knowledge while generating of the proposed research study. Moreover, I was able to
find the advantages as well as disadvantages of using social media in the business organizations.

Also, I am able to apply to such practices within my assignment and am able to establish
relationship in between financial as well as operational performance.
Objective of learning process
During my learning process I was able to achieve the skill of time management which is an
emerging need and demand of most organizations. I am able to make priorities for my work and
handle the deadlines accordingly. From the subject matter I learned various process and
procedures that are used in the research study. There are certain aspects and elements which have
been covered in different weeks that were helpful in providing accurate analysis of data. I read
about the qualitative and quantitative research methods and the way in which they can be related
to the assignment study. The main focus of lectures and study has been due emphasized on
presenting valuable arguments relating to the research topic. I was able to distinguish the
qualitative and quantitative data against the social media usage. I was able to make my analytical
skills enhanced and improved in regards to respective business report.
Learning process
After, the weeks and lecturers provided I learned about the research design, approaches, methods
and others things which are used in the research study. I learned about how to make the business
research and it application for my project study. The business research is totally useful for my
research learning process as I gathered knowledge about the use of research elements in order to
examine the co-relation among variables. Basically, in the research study we test the significance
of one variable over other variable and derive meaningful conclusion from qualitative as well as
quantitative data. Also, I learned about how to make hypothesis and test the data accordingly.
Moreover, I was able to gain new insight knowledge and experience that is directly related to the
variables testing in the research study. I have combination of feelings during my academic
learning wherein; sometimes I was happy, sad, and joyful and mixed feeling were there. This is
so because of interest in the business research and its practical approach to other assignments.
From the first and second assessment, I learnt about the theoretical knowledge about the merits
and demerits of using social media and network among the business practices.

Application of learning process in future course of action
From the learning process I enhanced my skills regarding writing of a research study and am able
to evaluate the progress and performance effectively. The things and study reflected in such
weeks can be applied to the future course when determining the significant relationship between
variables. I have adopted of systematic and structured approach when completing of my project
study. This led to completing of project within stipulated time frame and without any issues.
From the weeks I learned about legal and ethical consideration which is subject to the research
study. For conducting any type of business research it is important to adopt of legal and ethical
practices so that no unethical practices can be followed during gathering of responses in the
study.
Conclusion or Summary
From the analysis of above report study, it has been evident that the business research study is
very useful for my academic as well as professional career. It helped me in getting my
professional career very smooth and adopt of various theoretical knowledge in practical life. The
theories, concepts and approaches which I learned from the lecture material are directly related
to the future course of action. This is so because in future when analysing over any topic or issue
will include of same stages and procedures.
