The Affordable Care Act
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) was designed for healthcare by President Barack
Obama in the year 2010. It is known as Obamacare as well. This act has created to extend
health insurance coverage. It has designed to secure millions of uninsured Americans. The
main objective of this act was helping lower-income families for extra savings. It has affected
their health insurance plans using cost-sharing reductions and tax credits (KFF, 2013).
As a nurse, I can provide knowledge about the various processes for insurance plans
to most of the people. It is a simple process to secure the future through insurance plans. The
government has supported it. Obamacare has introduced by the president to secure millions of
Americans using insurance plans (KFF, 2013).
It has implemented for nurses as well as other propels, moreover, the basic cost can be
used for managing all the things in a better way. People can use their insurance plans for
improving their health. I will suggest all the family members secure their life using security
plans as well as insurance of various things. The act has supported various families, who are
not able to work hard. Besides they are not having munificent money for life insurance as
well as premium of them (Kenton, 2019).
The act has provided tax cuts to share those amounts for the premium of insurance
plans as well. I will suggest my patients think about the insurance plans, which can secure
their life from different types of serious issues and challenges in their healthcare. It is
beneficial for them for a long time. Moreover, it will secure the future of their children as
well until the age of 26. It will be beneficial for them in the future (Kenton, 2019).
