The study extended over analysing the impact of discrimination based on Ageism and
Racial Inequality on the overall development of an organisation, Therefore, the scope of study is
wide as it explore in-depth idea about the issue of discrimination and how it affects the
functioning of business. Ageism and Racial Inequality are major issue of discrimination which
has direct impact on the operations and functions of a business. Therefore, ageism inequality is
based on the discrimination done on the basis of the age, as businesses are now a day's are very
much concern over hiring young staff rather than higher people from adult age group. However,
this may in turns in the reason of discrimination at workplace. In this present investigation
ASDA is the chosen organisation as it is a British supermarket retailer which is mainly concern
over managing equality and diversity at work place for managing performance of employees at
work place.

To analyse the impact of workplace discrimination based on Ageism and Racial
Inequality over the overall development of an organisation. A case study on ASDA.

Research Methodology
Research Methodology is the most important area of an investigation as it is effective in
assisting the overall work in right direction. In this existing research work, quantitative research
method will be the best choice of investigation as it will support the investigation related to the
area of analyse the impact of workplace discrimination based on Ageism and Racial Inequality
over the overall development of an organisation, through conducting detailed analysis.
Furthermore, in this primary and secondary both the tools will be effective in assisting the work
in right manner. Thus secondary research will be effective in developing literature via the
support of books, journals, formal investigation etc. On the other side, primary research will be
conducted through execution survey via designing questionnaire as it is efficacious in gathering
information that are based on actual facts and figures.
