UCLAN MSc Project: Survey on Benefits & Challenges of Agile Methods

This document presents a survey designed to investigate the benefits and challenges of adopting agile methodologies within organizations. The survey includes questions about the respondent's experience with agile, the specific agile methods and techniques used, the perceived benefits of agile adoption (such as improved product quality, customer satisfaction, and team structure), and the challenges faced during implementation (like lack of up-front planning and insufficient documentation). Additionally, the survey explores the impact of agile on various aspects of the organization, including software delivery, organizational change, competitive advantage, security, software quality, team communication, product delivery, and individual skill utilization. The survey uses a combination of multiple-choice questions and Likert scale questions to gather both qualitative and quantitative data on the perceptions and experiences of individuals working with agile methodologies.

Benefits and Challenges of Adopting Agile
This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is
completely voluntary, you do not have to answer any questions you do not want to. I can assure
you your participation in this study will remain confidential. The study is being run as part of an
MSc project, and only anonymized data will be written up in the dissertation report.
