This research project proposal investigates the effectiveness of agile project management methodologies across various industries. The proposal begins with an introduction and literature review, highlighting the benefits and challenges of agile methodologies, including improved stakeholder engagement, flexibility, and team efficiency. The purpose statement outlines the research's aim to ascertain agile's impact on project success and identify factors driving and hindering its adoption. The research questions focus on whether agile improves project success, the driving factors, challenges, and strategies for improvement. The proposed methodology is mixed methods, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches using questionnaires and interviews to gather primary data from 500 respondents across diverse industries. Data analysis will involve both quantitative methods (charts, percentages) and qualitative methods (content analysis) to answer the research questions and test the hypothesis that agile adoption improves project success significantly. The research aims to provide vital information on improving agile implementation and project success.
