The document presented here is the complete report made to provide the elaborated description
of the application that will be developed for Agriculture Care and will be known by the name of
AgriCare. The report presented here is designed to represent the main aspects of AgriCare
development and designing. The report also includes the description of the development method
that will be used for the project AgriCare and the platforms that will be utilized. Various market-
related aspects such as the Value Proposition, global market competition, and cost-benefit
analysis will be presented here in this report to prove the fact that the application is going to
bring fortune for the company Agriculture Care.
The application discussed here is for the benefits of the farmers and therefore also represents and

Background
The project is about developing the application for Agriculture Care which provides several
agriculture and farming related services such as providing crop related facilities, product
selection, and purchasing, chat functionality, news, videos, etc. The project is taken into
consideration because the online application for the agriculture and farming services have been
helpful in revolutionized in the agriculture sector. The customer wants the digital interactions
rather than the old system, so the main objective of taking this project is to produce the
application that can constantly evolve on the basis of the interaction with the customers.
Tarute, Nikou, and Gatautis (2017) stated that increasing use of mobile applications allow
several organizations and communities to make a positive relationship with the customers. Thus,
the requirements of the customer should be considered while designing the application. The
farming communities are also moving towards the digitalization by developing the application so
that the user can easily access the farming facilities and this will bring more accessibility to the
user. The need for the agriculture systems of the AgriCare application is required because if a
farmer wants to contact the crop expert or check the latest updates, they can do so with the help
of application inconvenient way.
The application proposed for the AgriCare is the agriculture-based application with the purpose
to help the farmer to use it from anywhere and at any time. It will also increase the chances for
Agriculture Care to get new consumers. Introducing the farming application for the Agriculture
Care will attract the greater number of users to the customers.

Proposed solution
There are some problems with the existing application of the Agriculture Care that needs to be
addressed. The main problem identified by the customers are:
If some customer wishes to order the crop products, then there is an only a conventional
method for purchasing it. The conventional method means they can purchase it by making an
order on the phone call.
There is no proper referral facility in the application and the process of financial management
is not also working properly.
The current scenario of the application of Agriculture Care is that there is no validation and
verification of the entire procedure.
Also, there are chances of occurrence of error like the application creates errors while
purchasing the products or getting notified about the news.
To address and solve these problems, the solution proposed is to develop the application for the
company Agriculture Care. By proposing this solution, farmers and users will get benefits and
this will also minimize the errors that occur in the conventional process. If the proposed solution
of AgriCare application implements by company Agriculture Care, the following are the
benefits:
The application allows the farmers to communicate with the crop specialist via chat
functionality.
The new feature allows to watch the latest news and hence will notify to the farmers and
consumers about any latest news.
The error rate also reduces which in turn improves the working process of the application
with better communication.

The cost is estimated on the basis of the project benefits in terms of direct and indirect
anticipated benefits and the overall project cost including software pricing, infrastructure
purchase, software maintenance, infrastructure maintenance, etc. The cost obtained is $3700 and
GST is $370, hence the total cost is $4070. The overall benefits including direct and indirect
benefits are $4300 means the net cash flow is $230 with 20.31% rate of return (Johansson &
Kriström 2018).
