INTRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence can be described as advanced machines that react and work like
humans. For example, speech recognition and learning is designed in computers with
artificial intelligence. It is an area of computer science. In simple words, AI is the ability of a
machine or computer to learn and think. The study makes computer and other machinery
programs smart. This helps in learning information in terms of reasoning and self-correction.
There are mainly four types of artificial intelligence such as reactive machines, self-
awareness, theory of mind and memory (Schwab, 2017). There is a great impact of AI on
current environment whether it is related to business or human life. Hence, it is important for
everyone to understand the potential impact of AI on particular areas to increase knowledge
to make work easier. The major role of AI is to create technology that is capable of
functioning in an intelligent manner such as machines and computers. AI programs can work
more effectively and within less time as compared to humans. They have efficient accuracy,
precision and speed if coded and maintained properly (Liébana-Cabanillas, Marinković and
Kalinić, 2017). AI can combine a large amount of data and information with effectiveness,
fast speed and intelligent algorithms. The study will provide a depth understanding towards
the topic which is to analyse the impact of Artificial Intelligence on daily lives and its
advantage and disadvantage in future. This allows them to think and learn automatically from
features and patterns in data effectively.
Research Background
The research is based on Artificial intelligence and its impact on daily lives. This will help in
increasing knowledge and understanding of role of AI in current world. In addition, it will
also help in highlighting the factors associated with AI that has impact on both positive and
negative terms on people and current technology. It can be said that technology is getting
advanced day by day and science is achieving everything to make it easier to world. In this
context research proposal will analyse and determine the impact will the future influences of
Artificial Intelligence have in daily lives with the help of aim and objectives which will be
formulate in this research proposal to provide target. In addition, literature review to analyse
the information based on topic, proposed methodology to set framework of the study to
achieve desired results. Data description and gantt chart will be provided to determine the
timeline of research activities to accomplish goal. The impact and influence of AI on daily
lives and role of this advanced technology in this current global world will help in evaluating
is importance and drawbacks.

This investigation will help in increasing a comprehensive understating and knowledge of the
impact will the future influences of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ have in our daily lives. This will
help scholar to analyse the information regarding topic to achieve the aim of research. During
this process, investigator will face some issues associated with investigation such as
collecting accurate information regarding topic. This will also increase possibility to become
familiar with topic and current AI and technological environment. The research will also
increase my knowledge and understating in a particular field to understand the importance of
science, AI and technology in daily lives. Both negative and positive aspects associated with
AI will support my concepts and arguments to increase my knowledge in a particular area. It
will also provide opportunities for me such as acquiring clear concepts and mind-set
regarding this study

The aim of this research is to evaluate and understand what will the future influences of
‘Artificial Intelligence’ have in our daily lives. This will help in acquiring clear and coherent
information regarding role of AI in this current global world.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Introduction
Literature review in this research proposal part will help in providing different views,
perspectives and arguments from authentic sources based on the topic what impact will the
future influences of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ have in our daily lives. This will help in
understanding the role and importance of AI from different perspectives and perception. This
section will also include current knowledge such as substantive findings, methodological and
theoretical contribution towards the topic aim and objectives effectively. This section will
also compare and contrast various thoughts and arguments made towards the initial and
potential impact of AI in daily lives and technology.
According to Li and Du, (2017) there is a great impact and influence of AI upon this global
technological world. Artificial intelligence makes computer and other machinery programs
smart. This helps in learning information in terms of reasoning and self-correction. It is
important for everyone to understand the potential impact of AI on particular areas to
increase knowledge to make work easier as AI programs can work more effectively and
within less time as compared to humans. In this modern world, technology is taking place of
humans and it can also learn large amount of data as compared to human mind. As per Kelly,
(2017) a person can think future with artificial intelligence in terms of the surroundings as
way of web search. In addition, it works really well in real time such as it can improve safety
standards and well-being though cameras that can recognise incidents etc. Technology also
helps in providing safety in hospitals that patients can recover well with the information
provided by technology to doctors. Technology plays an important role in current business
and human environment where there is a requirement of advanced and smart tools to operate
effectively and successfully.
As per the view of Katz, (2017) AI is increasing interaction between people that they are
using services such as smartphones and other electronic devices to interact with each other
effectively. These features are assisting them to access within global interaction
environment. In addition, social media is also becoming an important part of this as the world
is effectively connected through social media platform to each other. It is helping them to
improve relationship and make interaction and communication possible. According to Huang
and Rust, (2018) Google and its services can be described as AI that helps people in many
different ways. It is making their lives easier than they thought. For example, people can
book a flight, product or any other service while sitting at home. The increasing use of

technology in today’s world is enhancing opportunities for people to make work easier to
save their time, cost and human power effectively. These are some common impact that AI
has on people and their daily lives. Further, there are number of benefits can be seen of
implementing AI technology to produce effective results and achieve satisfaction.
García-Peñalvo, (2018) said that AI is presented all around since a long time and used to
provide advancement in technology, operations and offerings that can be used by businesses
to take their operations above the expectation level. There are four types of AI that exists in
today’s sentient system such as reactive machines, limited memory, theory of mind and self-
awareness. Artificial intelligence is incorporate in different types of technologies such as
automation, machine learning, machine vision, natural language processing, robotics and self-
driving cars. The application of AI is applicable to several sectors that are taking advantage
of it to improve and develop effectiveness in their services. Areas such as healthcare,
business, education, finance, law, manufacturing, security etc. are taking benefits of
implementing AI to make work easier and effective. There are number of benefits provided
by AI in different sectors to facilitate services that are above imagination and thinking of
people. It makes it possible for machineries to experience, adjust and learn activities that are
performed by human such as tasks. The most effective example of AI can be seen as chess
game in computers and self-driving cars. With the help of this intelligence computer can
perform many tasks by recognising data patterns and storing large amount of data. In this
regards, the benefits and importance of AI described by Krishnan, (2016) provided below:
AI adds intelligence: AI helps in providing intelligence in existing products. It helps in
improving quality of products and services including their capabilities and effectiveness to
generate features that are above expectation level of humans (Koh and Liang, 2017). For
example, Apple Company introduced Siri that is capable of automation and used as
conversational platform in order to save large amount of data and improve technologies both
in workplace and at home from investment analysis to security intelligence.
Analyse more data: The computer system has changed impossible things into possible such
as building a detection system towards fraud with hidden layers (Martin, 2017). In this
regards, data in sufficient manner is required to train effective and inclusive learning because
they learn from large amount of data. Hence, the more data, the more accuracy is gained.
Incredible accuracy: Interaction of people with Google, Alexa etc. which are based on deep
and inclusive learning is helping to get more qualitative and accurate information data to use.

As per Michotte, (2017) there are several benefits of AI in this current world to people and
technologies. However, there are some disadvantages are also associated with AI such as:
High cost: The software and hardware requires improvement in timely manner to meet the
latest updates and needs. Machines require maintenance and repairing which need high cost.
In order to improve technology, cost is required to improve its effectiveness.
Unemployment: The uses of machineries are increasing in every sector which is leading to
unemployment and job insecurity. Machineries are replacing humans. This is increasing job
opportunities for people because machines can work ultimately extra without any break. It is
providing efficiency and saving time but also reducing employment.
Lack of sympathy and compassion: It is assessed that machineries are more effective in
working and producing better results when it comes to effectiveness. However, it cannot
replace human behaviour, relationship and team development activities that are necessary
within a sector to improve work efficiency.
Dependent on machines: As the current generation is using machineries and technologies
effectively but the people are now become dependent on machines and applications such as
Siri. In this regards, it is reducing human thinking capabilities and abilities to do and
complete work. Increasing use of Artificial intelligence letting people dully dependent on
them

technology and influence on daily lives of people. Hence, it is important to understand the
use of AI in order to manage the balance between human and technology. This helps to
maintain the efficiency and effectiveness which is necessary to achieve desire goal. Hence,
Milakis, Van Arem and Van Wee, (2017) stated that there is a great importance of AI in daily
lives of people that it helps in increasing chances of reducing cost and time to complete a
task. It also works as a human resource for businesses to improve their operations and

Intelligence’ have in daily lives. This will help in acquiring clear and coherent information
regarding role of AI in this current global world. In this regards, methodology will help in
collecting relevant information from data collection tools. It is vast topic which will help
researcher to discuss the topic of this investigation in great details while focusing on
achieving goal and objectives.
Research philosophy: This part of the research will help in selecting the best and suitable
philosophy for the research in order to evaluate what will the future influences of ‘Artificial
Intelligence’ have in our daily lives (Davies and Francis, 2018). Research philosophy has
four types such as interpretivism, positivism, realism and post-positivism. For the current

collected through secondary sources such as online, books, articles, magazines and blogs. In
this regards, primary data collection tool will be used by investigator for the current research
to collect data from participants interacting with machineries and AI in UK.
Sampling: Through quality selection of sampling method, researcher is able to collect
reliable and authentic information while managing cost and time. Basically, there are two
types of sampling methods such as probability and non-probability. Probability method
provide equal opportunity to answer the research questions to participants and non-
probability is used where there is no requirement of providing opportunity to participants
(Hart, 2018). For the present research, investigator will use probability sampling in which
random technique will be used to pick participants randomly operating with machineries and
AI tools. In this regards, 20 people will be picked randomly. This will help to acquire
relevant and fresh data from participants regarding topic what impact will the future
influences of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ have in our daily lives.
Data analysis: It is very crucial for the investigator to analyse the data and information
collected from primary source to have understanding of information required to achieve the
aim and objectives of investigation effectively (Kumar, 2019). In this regards, information

will be collected by scholar to 20 people who will be analysed using questionnaire and their
interpretation with the help of graphs, tables and chart. This will help to analyse the
information in order to accomplish the aim of research.
Reliability/Validity: There is a great importance of research validity and reliability that it is
important to achieve the desired outcomes. Reliable and valid research helps in justifying the
effectiveness of research results. Hence, the research will include latest and updated
information regarding topic to make it reliable and valid.
