INTRODUCTION
Artificial Intelligence means information used on computer which enhances level of
distribution and creativity. This includes various kinds of application and equipment which uses
information in numeric code form (Badewi, 2016). It includes personal computers,
communication satellites, calculators. With increase in digital technology, business has been
impacted in different activities. It is significant for organisation to move with current trends and
technology. The given assignment is based on Marks and Spencer which was founded in 1884 at
United Kingdom which is retailer business that deals in clothing, luxury food products and home
products. This report discuss about aim, objectives, project management plan along with research
and findings. The performance review has been made for knowing performance of individuals.

at London that deals in luxury food, clothing and home products. This was founded by Michael
Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds. It is serving its products worldwide for their consumer

organisation for achievement of goals and objectives.

organisation. It is intelligence that is exhibited by machines which has many application in
society. AI are developed for performing particular task that includes robot control, remote
sensing, medical diagnosis, electronic trading. It is used in various industries such as finance,
education, healthcare and transportation. The success of project depends upon various factors
such as finance, market analysis, requirement of manpower. As Marks and Spencer is large
organisation, so it need to implement digital technology for running their activities and
operations. I conducted research before implementing technology as it provide guidance and help
to firm whether to adopt or not. After analysing, I decided to implement in practical approach to
make work of organisation easy and simple.
AI helps in supporting performance of organisation as it is used in different sectors.
While I was conducting research I came to know about uses of AI in business and its operations.
This is used to improve efficiency of corporation to run each and every activities in effective
manner. It is used in banking and finance for fraud detection. As many banks uses application of
AI to detect frauds and its software is given to large sample of data. Retail business also requires
AI for their online customer support. Online application directly connect with their consumer in
form of chat option with their sales or support representatives. These AI chat bots easily
understand natural language such as human conversation and assist consumer in their findings
and directing them. Nowadays, cyber crime is increasing day by day which can be minimized by
use of AI that keeps data, information and record them in protective device.
ii) Your own performance
While conducting such project work, I faced lots of difficulties as I could not identified
which digital technology is best for my organisation. I analysed each and every technology very

deeply so that I could find best one. While going through analysing phase, I found that as per
size and structure of my organisation, Artificial Intelligence is the most suitable one. As it is used
in various fields such as banking, organisation, finance, transport, education and others. This
leads to increase in performance of employees and increase their productivity. Through this
project report, I build my confidence level and improve my various skills such as decision
making, communication. This is the first experience which I have faced in my life as manager
told me to analyse market and choose best technology for business.
CONCLUSION
From above report it can be concluded that Artificial Intelligence has really impact on
business and its running activities. It is very important for organisation to make project
management plan so that cost incurred, resources, risk and others can be known while
conducting project and better decision could be made. The primary and secondary research has
been conducted for business to know about views of respondent regarding technology and its
impact. Some recommendation has been given to organisation for improving themselves such as
conduct training and development programmes for their employees regarding new technology.
Also performance review has been prepared to perform in better and effective way so that final
goals and objectives can be achieved.
