This is an innovation in the field of medical wherein the
neuralink is prepared. This neuralink is a neurotechnology
company which specialises in building the tool that link the
human brains directly with the computers without any need of
physical connection. This company is being formulated by Elon
Musk who is trying to create new way of interfacing with
technology. This project began in 2016 and has created many
different types of advancement. The major inspiration behind
this company was the science fiction maned Neutral Lace
(Kulshreshth, Anand and Lakanpal, 2019).
This neurlink will work by implanting the electrodes into the
brain of patient. The major reason behind this is that when the
human brain is linked with computers with help of electrodes
then there is no need of using the physical connectors. Every
brain computer interface (BCI) will likely to be more than a way
to control all the services which are streaming at time of use.
Under the concept of electrodes, the module is places outside
the person’s head wirelessly and then information from the
thin flexible electrodes is being transferred which are
embedded in brain. This includes 3072 electrodes per array
that are distributed across the 96 thread where each of it is 4
to 6 μm of width. As described by Musk this system is like Fitbit
in the skull with tiny wires. Furthermore, these threads would
be embedded with help of robotic apparatus that have the
intention of avoiding the blood vessels which are damaging
others.
