This project delves into the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist healthcare managers in determining patient access to clinical treatment. The research investigates the current advancements of AI, exploring its applications in healthcare decision-making processes, particularly in managing the complexities of patient data, treatment options, and resource allocation. The project aims to collect information from AI system developers and healthcare managers through semi-structured interviews to understand the practical implications and benefits of AI in streamlining healthcare operations, reducing costs, and improving patient outcomes. The findings highlight AI's capacity to reduce unnecessary time and resources, while also emphasizing the need for infrastructure changes and employee training to successfully integrate this technology.
