Introduction
The current report will emphasize on importance of Artificial Intelligence that is taking over
hearts of millions of customers and business owners. It will select AI role in creating content for
products and services of big brands. The technology and its influence on the personal life of the
individual and support to the business for the branding and marketing of the product will be
determined. In reference to this, aims and objectives will be listed for creating effective project
that will help in identifying work criteria. Managing project refers to practice of planning,
initiating, controlling, closing and executing the work for accomplishing specific aims and
objectives with certain criteria such as time and cost. The current assignment is prepared to
provide better understanding to manage business project with essential skills. The management
of project is identified as critical job to manage the scope and goals and to attain the outcomes
effectively with defined capabilities. The report will discuss project’s concepts including
principles, critical path and scope.

About project
Project management is determined as practise that plans, initiate, control, close and execute work
in team that helps in fulfilling goals in certain time for achieving success. Managing project has a
various constraints that create challenges while fulfilling aims and objectives. The current study
has aim on discussing Artificial Intelligence that requires by every business to get work fast and
easy by reducing need of human resources for saving huge funds as it is determined as one time
investment. The project in organisation is highly managed by project manager that will lead and
guide overall team in an organisation (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017). Artificial Intelligence has
been major need for firms that has huge work load and market demand for which they need to
comply on regular basis.
Aims and objectives
The project has main aim to identify the impact and application of artificial intelligence in the
business and to understand how the technology is being used to generate content for the business
to support product sales. The project has objectives:
 To understand artificial technology and its impacts on the businesses and their practice.
 To examine the application of the technology and future of the technology.
 To investigate how the technology has influence on the individual’s life.
Stages of Project Management
The AI in business firms help in minimising workloads for employees and gives customer better
living standards by using advanced techniques. The project planning for AI requires following
the stages so that effective results can be obtained in desired timeframe (Harrison and Lock,
2017). Thus, there are various stages of project management which are as follows:

Project Initiation – The first step states that broad definition and feasibility chances of plan must
be defined. In this, the stakeholders linked with firm can determine project success using two
methods. First is business case document that can justify organisational project needs, financial
profits and benefit from initiating plan (Larson and Gray, 2017). Second is the feasibility study
that determines important resources that helps in getting cost and time to finish project.
Project Planning – The goals and needs are developed that carry of project scope, identification
of needs, finalising deliverable timeline, organising schedule for work flow and at last arranging
and assessing major resources (Todorović, et.al, 2015).
Project Execution – It contains creating stands for individual task, procuring major resources,
executing task, giving work to team workers, updating project process and giving results in the
given deadlines.
Project Monitoring – This stage allows manager to calculate and interact project progress to top
management and employees that has given huge dedication and effort of creating project. It can
be measured using KPI’s such as timeline adherence, planned budget etc.
Project Closure – In this all stakeholders and team members are given final result of the success.
This is last stage in which product completion gets declared through results.

Artificial intelligence determined as capable technology with cognitive functions that are created
according to human minds that aims on solving problems and learning. In generating content for
firms to market the products various process are effectively used and practised. The AI gives
great help in generating automatic content for creating positive image in front of customers. For
example – the content for large brands such as Fox, Yahoo, Associated Press etc are developed
from AI machines. It further helps in creating chat-bots that helps in increasing customer chats
and ideas for ordering products and services. The technique now-a-days has increased effective
understanding of predictive knowledge that helps in targeting correct customer groups. It aims on
giving better and regular customer experience at large scale (Fleming and Koppelman, 2016).
Using of AI in firm provides better and huge marketing for the products and services at global
level.
Thus, creating AI plan in firms it is important to create project management plan so that purpose
and aims of using AI can be implemented in organisation. Therefore, creating project plan is
very responsible task that needs huge understanding and research about artificial intelligence that
has been major requirement in promoting products and services and lowering down manpower as
compared to robotics work. Such things and services are available with customers in form of
better experiences. Thus, the project management plan is created below:
Project Management Plan
Scope Statement – In upcoming time, machines with artificial intelligence will reduce efforts on
human practices and the organizations can reduce the operational cost through machine and
programming based automation (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017). In recent years, it has improved
service as well as manufacturing systems that has taken use latest and advanced technologies
determined as expertise systems. Thus, AI plays very crucial importance in computer science as
it will help in developing computers and machines that will boost logical operations. It completes
task with speech recognition, human intelligence, visual perception, the translation of language
and decision making. It is aim at creating app for securing computer data directly without human
help.

Critical Success Factors – The cost required for this project is high that needs requirement list
on which the project success is depend on. Thus, following are success factors for initiating AI in
form of app that includes:
 Project deadline – The project must be completed by 31st July (Heagney, 2016).
 Quality standards – The app functioning must be better and speedy with regular updates.
 Budget – It will cost approximately $85000 at initial level
 Minimal change orders – Problems in case of implementation or usage.
 End user benefit – Lowers burden for recording data and securing them with passwords
or regular check by business executives.
 Employee satisfaction – New opportunities will be given to explore new ways and career
in business.
Deliverables – The products and services created in business are for specific purpose. The app
for securing data will require huge quality so that anytime it can be accessed by business owners.
Even it will be sponsored by huge firms with computers that will take authority of using it.
Work Breakdown Structure – The effective management of organisation aims at starting the
work by listing various important activities that will be taken place while completing the project
which is further determined as logical subdivision (Robinson, et.al, 2018).
Schedule – The project of AI for app will have beginning as well as end in which schedule plays
an important role. The stakeholders of organisation are highly concerned with dates of deadlines.
Thus the activities that are planned in WBS will include deadlines for project completion that
will satisfy stakeholders. For scheduling the tasks and activities in project different internet based
tools for scheduling can be accessed such as Primavera P6 or Tom’s Planner.
Budget – The successful project requires estimated budget that helps in growing sprout roots that
converts it in obnoxious weed. The WBS is essential that must include budget planning in other
column for every activity that helps in analysing correct requirements in project. The method of
using earned value for estimating budget than it will be determined as budget at completion. It is
best method as it helps in completing project on specified time and manner.

Quality – The quality standards in developing and completing project of app development for
entering data automatically will require quality that is to be maintained (Cleden, 2017). For
example – the app might create issue if it does not provide time to time updates and in such case
app failure might be seen. There are various quality marks which are used by firms after firm’s
name to identify its quality standards products. Such marks ensure quality of project that aims at
quality standards, quality control and quality assurance.
Human Resource Plan – The team members that area associated with project has major role as
it decides future of project success. The development of application will require human resources
for developing and maintaining an app regularly for avoiding hacks that will require certain roles
that is to be followed by management that includes identifying resource needs, project team
acquisition, management and training and development.
Stakeholder List – The project will contain various types of stakeholders that must be properly
listed by management so that all information and changes related to project can be conveyed on
time for satisfying them with their time and money investment (Harrison, et.al, 2019).
Communication – This is essential part to conduct uninterrupted operations and activities in the
business. All the activities are carried in effective manner through communication. For example
– progress report to stakeholders can be communicated using email in form of pdf or investment
circular can be conveyed using email to project investors.
Risk Register – As computer science engineer it is important to develop risk register that will
help in determining impact and probability from risk. The register will contain task description,
priority, response plan and triggers. Following are some of the major risks those are identified
and considered to resolve with appropriate selection of the risk assessment and management
method:
