1. Many problems can be re stated as classification tasks. Telling the difference between
humans and cats is an example. Discuss how Speech Recognition is a classification task
Speech recognition technology can be categorized as a classification task as its can align
with the goals of the mobile devices or the system where the technology is incorporated.
The concept of classification task is to predict the target class for each of the cases. This
reliable categorization process can be practised in different categories of working and non-
working environments. The procedure of classification task is also very much applicable for the
application of the speech recognition technology (Watts, 2017). Classification tasks are defined
as the type of task which is useful to priorities each phase of the tasks. The classification tasks
can be used in different categories and are used to classify between more than one categories.
The classification tasks are very much essential in the speech recognition technology
which helps the technology to classify male and female voices. The classification tasks are
integrated in the speech recognition technology which helps tis technology to identify the female
voices with the male voices (Torresen, 2018). After classification of the male and female voices
it can be said that this concept can be also applied to identify the specific male or female voice
among all the other voices which are there in the database of this technology. The user of the
vector data is very much important in most of the classification tasks as it helps the system to
identify different types of voice patterns. The classification task of the speech recognition
technology can be also very much important for the sampling of the data which are gathered
from the mobile devices. The precision rates of speech recognition technology is a very
important factor considering the classification of the tasks. The quality of service provided by the
speech recognition technology depends upon the classification process. The vibrations present in
the air and all the other important parameters can be categorized using this classification

procedure. However, there is a significant limitation of the use of the speech recognition
technology in terms of the inaccuracies and the misinterpretations. The other limitation of this
technology is the complexities of jargon and phrasing.
According to (Pan et al., 2016), there are numerous challenges of the speech recognition
technology such as the accuracy of the technology, users responsiveness of this technology, the
performance of the technology in adverse environmental conditions, the reliability of the
technology as well as the fault tolerance of the technology. The researcher stated that numerous
back end inputs are considered in the speech recognition technology such as recognition
algorithms, acoustic models and grammars (Li & Du, 2017). The researcher stated that both the
front end processing and back end processing are important to be examined in the speech
recognition technology. The main advantage of the paper is that it provides all the technical
aspects of the speech recognition technology including its advantages and the disadvantageous.
Speech recognition technology is used both for personal use and also in the different
types of industries. The security of the organization and the dedicated systems used in the
working environments are protected with the use of speech recognition technology. The
command-oriented systems uses the speech recognition technology in their working
environment, at the same time the speech recognition technology is helpful to access the systems
which are protected using the speech recognition technology (Crilly & Cardoso, 2017). The
automatic speech recognition software programs are now increasingly used in the defense sectors
as well as in the nuclear power plants. The voice recognition technology can be also used as an
alternative to typing in the keyboards.

2. Argue if Language Translation can be stated as classification task. Justify your answer
by the use of others examples?
The concept of language translation can be stated as a classification task as it helps to
classify or identify the exact language from data. The language which is there in the data are
matched with all the different types of languages and patterns, this step is followed by actual
language which is there in the data. This concept is widely used in different encryption
procedure. The concept of language translation are used in different categories of applications
such as Google Translate. Apart from Google Translate, it can be said that the DeepL translator
can be also used for the translation of one language to another. These types of applications can
also be used to translate from one language to another according to the needs and requirements
of the users. There are numerous online applications which acne be used both for personal use
and also for commercial purposes (Weston et al., 2015). The use of the translation applications in
the business organization can be very much essential for the growth and productivity of the
organization as it can protect the data from the unauthorized users as well as from the
cybercriminals. However, there are few issues associated with the language translation also such
as its compatibility issues with the mobile devices. The language translation technique may also
have difficulties especially in terms of the grammar errors. The translation from
As stated by Al-Amer et al., (2016), language translation can be categorized as the
categorization task. The researcher of this paper stated both the advantages as well as the
limitations of the use of the language translators (Alvesson & Sköldberg, 2017). The research
stated about different categories of language translators which are widely used in the different
types of business organizations such as technical translation, scientific translation, legal
translation, judicial translation and financial translation. The researcher stated that each of the

translations have its unique significance in each industries. The prime advantage of the paper is
that it focuses on all the different types of translation systems which are increasingly used in the
different types of industries. The prime limitation of the paper is that it do not discussed the
issues or the challenges of language translation.
The main challenges of language translation are the grammar errors in terms of the
structure of the language, idioms and expressions, compound words, two words verbs in a single
sentence, words with multiple meanings and sarcasm (Fernando & Wimalaratne, 2018). Deep
understanding of the culture and the grammar is the most significant limitations of the use of
language translation.
Thus base on both the positive and the negative aspects of language translation it can be
said that the language translation can be called as a classification task (Levi & Hassner, 2015).
The categorization of the data which are fed to the translation systems or software follows the
concept of categorization.
3. Imagine you were their chief research scientist – what problems would you set your team
to work on next? Explain and discuss your answer.
Being one of the chief research scientist of Google [x] it can be said that there are
problems associated with the business process of this organization such maintaining good
relation with each of the primary stakeholders of the telecommunication industries. The other
risk as a chief research scientist are the financial risks coming from the management team of the
organization. Evaluation of the performance for each of the stakeholders of the organization and
the lack of research accessibility are the other important challenges of chief research scientist.

The communication between each of the stakeholders of this organization among each other in a
secured communication platform is the other significant risk for the entire research team of this
organization (Alvesson & Sköldberg, 2017). The solutions provided by this organization is of
very high standard because it maintains dedicated team to minimize the issues faced by this
organization
Dedicated team should be there in the first place in order to identify the reason behind the
the risks. The role of the system engineers and the project managers have to be examined on a
regular basis based upon their performance. Variety of service are being provided by this
organization over the years such as the contribution of this organization to produce wind energy
using kites in a project termed as Makani. This organization is conducting tests on the free space
optical communication which are performed by the engineers of this organization (Dong et al.,
2015). The team of this organization has to be ready to deal with different categories of
challenges which are thrown by the consumers of this organization.
The strategies which has to adopted by the team can be described as follows:
The team should be having new as well as experienced employees so that they are
ready to face any kinds of situations. The average age of each dedicated team
should be below 40 years old so that there are aware of the current market trends.
The fitness of the each of the team member has to maintain in a monthly basis.
Dedicated team should be there for different categories such as civil engineering
projects, glass and ceramic technology, energy sectors, automobile and shipping
industry.
All the experts professional having experience in the same industry must be

This conceptual diagram describes the role of the operational managers who allocates
numerous categories of the task in each department. The experienced employees of the
organization are given primary importance in case of the emergency projects. The tasks which
are supposed to be done by the employees of this organization are documented in the first place
and reviewed thoroughly (Berger & Lafferty, 2017). The diagram is also very much useful to
understand the different types of projects which are taken by this organization. After reviewing
the file, a dedicated team is chosen by the operational managers and are sent to the sites for
inspection procedure. Based upon the inspection procedure a report is created and forwarded to
the higher authorities, they validate the analysis and the working procedures start afterwards.
After completion of the tasks, a detailed document is again created stating the difficulties while
doing this project and ways adopted by the site engineers to deal with the business uncertainties.
This document is then reviewed by the operational manager using the initial document and final
documents, after that the primary stakeholders of this organization are informed about the status
of the project.
4. Discuss if Artificial Intelligence (AI) researchers should look to biology (the human
brain) or inspiration. Investigate if there might be a better metaphor for computer
intelligence.
The extensive development in the field of Information Technology has resulted in the
growth of numerous technologies such as artificial intelligence. This technology was developed
in such as way so that it is compatible with the other technologies as well with the legacy
systems used in the business organizations. The use of this technology is increasing in every
industry as well as in the home appliances also (Pillen, 2016). The researchers of the artificial

intelligence technology can focus on modifying the technology so that the limitation of this
technology can be minimized and the desired results are obtained.
The concepts and ideologies of the neuroscience can be added to the artificial intelligence
as the neural computations which are done by the brains cannot be performed using the artificial
intelligence system. The deep learning technique of the intelligent systems can be also modified
if the human brains aligned with the artificial intelligence systems.
The intelligence of the computers systems can be improved using the advanced machine
learning techniques which can be aligned in the manufacturing industries especially in the
production units of the business organizations (Serdyuk et al., 2016). Human brains can play a
significant role in the development of advanced AI-based systems.
According to Pym (2017), artificial intelligence are increasingly used in military
operations all around the world. The researcher stated the details about the contribution of this
technology in different business sectors. The researcher also stated that this advanced technology
can be integrated with biology so that the capabilities and the specifications which are currently
offered by the AI based can be improved. The paper has numerous advantages in terms of the
advantages of incorporating biology with artificial intelligence and the main weakness of this
paper it that it do not states the challenges faced by the researcher when they try to integrate the
concepts of biology in artificial intelligence (Kim, Hori & Watanabe, 2017). However, other
researcher stated that there are more complexities associated with the addition of the human
capabilities in the automated technologies in terms of the investments required in the research
laboratories.
