INTRODUCTION
One of the most important and major aim of the aid is development of goals and
objectives that helps in removing poverty from the country. The main aim of project is that one
key way through which poverty can be removed from the country is by helping poor. This can be
conducted by providing various measures through which they can earn more in labour market.
The main aim of this assignment is to lay emphasis upon the aid projects that are designed to
help the poor in establishing and improving there business, the problems associated with these
strategies and some alternative strategies.
MAIN BODY
Many aid projects are designed to help the poor establish or improve a business. What are
some of the problems with these strategies? What are some alternative strategies for
poverty relief? Explain one or more alternative strategies. Are there examples of aid
projects that are moving in this direction?
Aid project initiates the direct participation of the donors in the implementation of the
development project. Along with supported budget, those donors support through the recipient
governmental budget. Poverty is the major drawback of any developing country; thus, the
government and various other organisations of the country should come together and took a step
forward in removing the poverty from the country (Association for India's Development,2016).
As they are the ruling body of the country, they can support various kinds of the social
organisations that take initiatives in removing poverty from the country. Poverty is very huge
and broad concept as it involves various kinds of other concepts within it. Aid projects are the
initiatives that are taken by the group of the organisation who come together in order to fight
with the major drawback of the society. Thus, aim of some aid project is to lay emphasis upon
refreshing private sector of the country. The main motive of private sector companies is to bring
profits and that's the reason the wages provided by them to their labours is very low, there should
be norms which provide guidelines that helps both organisation and the employees working in it
with various kinds of the benefits.(Crost, 2014).
The main reason behind poverty is lack of information, education, rights and knowledge.
There is so much misleading information is available regarding the poor people and their
capacity to labour; there are various kinds of work that can be done by the poor people other
than this. The potential and capacity of poor people is equal to the other individuals of the
society. Their are number of cases in which it has been seen that the wages provided to the

labours are not as per there hardwork and efficiency. . As per the reports, International
Organisation estimated that approximately 200 million poor people are there who are
unemployed in the world. On the other hand, 900 million poor people who earn so less that they
are unable to meet the basic needs of the lives with their wages (Kwon, 2014). As per the
collected data; in countries where income generation is comparatively high the number of poor
people are even more in comparison to the underdeveloped countries. . The policies that are
suggested with the Aid Projects is to establish with the importance of earning more in market. e
International trade: The growth in the exports is directly connected with increase in wage
levels, while the policies of development that lay emphasis upon the free trade, also lay emphasis
upon the increase in import, which can create unemployment in the domestic labour market.
Economic Growth: Increasing growth is the aim aspect of the development of the country in
reduction of the poverty. The development projects which lay emphasis upon the reduction of
the poverty needs to analyse the plans and policies in order to ensure whether these are helping
poor people in there development.
Private Sector: The aim of some aid project is to lay emphasis upon refreshing private sector of
the country. Private companies are always indulged in rising profits for there organisation so
they never lay focus upon the development of there labours. It helps in developing organisation
along with its working unit. Benefits to both employer and employees will help in maintaining
the sustainable position (Winters, 2015).
It has been seen that poor people are less educated due to lack of resources and
availability of basic amenities, they are deprived of the education. This results in to less
interpersonal and technical skills. To remove poverty from the country, it is very important to
bring certain kinds of revolution in the country regarding the various aspects that directly or
indirectly affect the economic aspects of the nation. The government should provide various
measures regarding the growth and development of poor people by providing them necessary
education that can help them in leading a better life. Aid projects are the initiatives that are taken
to reduce the poverty from the country. As per the data, there are number of people who are
unemployed and are not able to manage one time food for their families (International
Cooperation and Development ,2018).
The aid project which lay focus upon the poor who wants to establish or improve their
business, focus upon the facts and figures of the capabilities as well as the abilities of the

individual for taking the desired measures as per the requirement. However, the main aim of this
project is to reduce the rate of poverty from the country.
But there has been various types of aspects; one of it focuses upon the point that foreign
aid projects are very controversial regarding there success and development. According to some
reports, it has been said that these projects are ineffective and create negative impact upon the
poor countries since last so many years. The impact of aid is very negative as it creates
dependency, corruption and encourage the overvaluation of the country. It has also mentioned in
the report that it enables the countries to take various advantages that are provided to the country
in the form of global economy.
On the other hand, as per the other report, it has been said that these projects can prove
to be successful if the organisation conduct it on some large level. The aid project which are
designed to help poor in improving there business focus mainly upon the training and
development of the poor. It provides various kinds of the information and education to them
which can help them to establish and improve there business and earn better and lead a good life.
These aid projects work to reduce the poverty from the country and to ensure the development of
the poor unemployed people.

order to re3udce there poverty. There are various kinds of problems that are initiated with
these aids:
 Aid project can increase the dependency upon the donor countries , in some cases aids
are considered as the loan and liability, and it becomes difficult for the poor companies to
pay it back.
 There are various cases in which it has been seen that the aid it enable to reach the
individuals who need it the most, because of the corruption and involvement of the local
politics.
 In some cases it create pressure upon the poor countries.
 Some aid projects provides benefits to service provider rather than service user.
There should be some other alternatives available in order to reduce the poverty from the
country, in case of failure of one measure. If government and the other organisation take
continuous measures to reduce the poverty of the country than they can reduce its rate in some
effective manner. Not only Non government organisation and legislation but other bodies should
also take step forward in reducing the poverty from the country (Riddell, 2016).
Poverty reduction is the measure that is taken by the country in order to reduce the rate of the
poverty within the country. Both economic department of the country and humanitarian
department work together to bring down the poverty from the country in order to ensure its
growth and development, various types of measures are taken by them to make the country
developed , poverty reduction is the measure of the overall economic growth of the country, but
there are some that occurred with these strategies. The main reason behind poverty is less of
education and orientation in the countries. The challenges that these strategies face:
 Less involvement of governmental bodies

 Less involvement of higher authorities of the country
 Often people wants to make profits from such programs
 The number of poor people is more than the expectation of the organisations
 Lack of education.
Reducing poverty if very huge concept it is not something which can be implemented
overnight, it I the measure which requires lots of study and evaluation so that proper steps can
help in reducing some amount of poverty from the country. The problems associated with it due
to its critical nature there is no a such reports and statistics are available which can provide
complete information regarding the number of poor people present in the world and how many
of them are unemployed and required skills to conduct the business etc., some measures like
providing education, information, generating knowledge can be implemented by the government
so that it can create some kind of positive impact upon there lives. Poverty is major drawback of
the developed country and it has been seen that countries wit high income rate has more poor
people than other countries. The main reason behind poverty is lack of information, education,
rights and knowledge. There is so much miss leading information is available regarding the poor
people and there capacity to labour, there are various kinds of work that can be done by the poor
people other than this. As there capacity and potential is as equal to anyone else. There are many
cases where poor people a good amount of work but in return receive very less wages, this is
also one of the reason behind there poverty It is because of the lack of strategical plans and
policies constructed by the government ,assistance of the government and involvement of second
tier institutions can help the countries in reducing there rate of poverty, as there are number of
measure which can be taken by the government in order to reduce there rate of poverty.
There are various kind of alternative approaches which can be taken in order to reduce
the rate of poverty from the country (Riddell, 2014).
Human Rights Based Approach: A human right is the point of view which see poverty as the
factors which affect the rights of the individual and create negative emphasis upon there
strengths and capabilities. Human right is the approach which create emphasis upon the multi
purpose approach of the poverty, the policies of the human resource department states that
effective reduction of the poverty is not possible without the empowerment of the poor. The
human rights is the approach which is based upon the commitment to provide a life to the
individuals which is full of resources and possibilities. Human rights approaches are the

measures that helps the poor and all the other people of the society to protect there rights from
being hammered by the another people of the society.
Equalities Based Approach: This is the approach which lay focus upon the protected aspects of
gender, race, disability, age, religion, belief and etc., this is the different approach in comparison
to all the other approaches of the poverty. This is the different aspect as it covers the various area
which are related to the aspect of the poverty. Humanitarian Assistance Aid Project,Military Aid
Project, school meals aids and etc., are some example of aid projects. These projects are very
successful in reaching towards there goals and objectives. These measures state that there should
not be any kind of discrimination should occurred in the society at any level, all the people of the
country are same and there should not be any kind of discrimination on the basis of caste,
culture, race, religion or gender etc., the growth and development of poor people that comes into
light shows the success of these acts in the society (Milner, 2016).
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that poverty is the major drawback of the
developing and developed country. The main reason behind the poverty is lack of education,
knowledge and information. It has been also seen that various types of the aids are available in
order to provide the help to the poor. Some are successful in reaching towards their goals and
objectives while others are insufficient in meeting the requirement. Lastly, the report concludes
information regarding the availability of alternative strategies that can prove to be successful in
removing poverty from the country and to ensure the growth and development of the poor
people.
