1. Introduction
The air cargo management is one of the operations that have been implying the best
practices known as airport security. It means to the use of some methods and
techniques in an attempt to protect the building, passengers, staff, aircraft, different
commodities and goods from the threats, crime, terrorism, and acts of unlawful
interference (Kemes, 2018). A large number of people visit the airport for some
purpose or to go from one place to another that shifted the target of the terrorist to
attack due to a number of people in one place, therefore, it is important to keep the
airport security at its best.
2. Best Practices
To keep the airport security, some important laws and regulations have been formed
in the USA by the US department of transportation, Federal Aviation Authority of
USA, National Transportation Safety Boards. The FAA of the USA has been are
responsible for the safety of a passenger, capacity, and condition of the airport system.
Aviation is regulated by the US state agencies and some have state portals where
police and the force work for airport security to protecting the passengers and goods
(Benny, 2016). There are many advantages of airport security, statistically accidental
incidents, and the fatality rate has been going down since the government and some
agencies strict the airport rules for three years. It has also increased a lot of job
opportunities for new workers (Crislip, 2019). Some of the disadvantages are more
security has become more expensive, and consumes too much time for the passengers,
people feel more discriminated against. Such securities are not only for the common
people but for the celebrities and VIPs.

Air cargo management has one of the best practices in operations is airport security. I
agree because the security check-up of every passenger is very important with respect
to every rule and regulation. An operation like this should be implemented in all areas
of air cargo management because the agenda of securities is to protect every
individual from threats. The police force and state government spend a couple of
money to reach the securities at its high pitch. They set the best rules and regulation
which need to be very important in all areas of air cargo management. If the best
practices are not implemented then the result will be a disaster. Terrorism and threats
would be free to attack people, property and staff will not be properly examined and
job opportunities would not be much (Sweet, 2008). Therefore it is very important
that the best practices of air cargo management should properly implement in all
areas.
4. Conclusion
One of the best practices in air cargo management system is airport security. It is
useful in the protection of passengers from crimes, threats, and the act of unlawful
threats. Some rules and regulations followed by the US government have been formed
by the FAA, US department of transportation and the National Transportation Safety
Board. The government and some agencies spend the money and strictness on it. As a
result at present accidental cases and the fatality rate has been reduced and job
opportunities are increased. Therefore the best practices should be implemented in all
areas of the air cargo environment.
