One of the global issue that are faced by different countries in recent scenario is
increasing air pollution which has created major problem on health an safety of individual.
Various facts or data clearly states that around 3.7 million of premature deaths across worldwide
due to air pollution so government needs to take major steps in order to reduce the same for
benefits of people that are living in society. Among them 90% cases belong to people of
countries that are from low and medium income group as per the point of view of world health
organization (Forman and Finch, 2018). Furthermore, the author has illustrate that indoor
smoke is also ongoing health threat which has been suffered by 3 billion people. Heart diseases,
cancer and respiratory are some of diseases which are caused due to global increasing air
pollution which leads to higher number of death around the year in different parts of world. It
has also lead to destroy of enough crops that are used to feed millions of people every year (Air
pollution, 2019). Air pollution have both short and long term exposure like sneezing, eye
irritation, dizziness and headache are short term exposure. On contrary, it also leads to adverse
impact on lung of individual. It has also caused ozone depletion in the stratosphere thereby
explosion of UV radiation has lead to skin cancer and other health problem. Air pollution has
also impact on climate change like global warming which leads to increase in carbon dioxide
(A I R P O L L U T I O N : A G L O B A L P R O B L E M 2 0 1 9 ). Industries are main cause of air
pollution in atmosphere as they realise large amount of wastage in external environment. In
2017, it was estimated that air pollution has lead to around 5 million of death globally that
means around 1-10 death. It has been identified that South Asia and Sub Saharan Africa are two
main countries that are has been adversely impacted due to increase in air pollution. Around
91% of population in world lives in polluted area or where quality of air level is exceed WHO
limit.

Now, a days, government has taken various measure in order to renewable energy and
reduce air pollution so that people can stay health and safe for many years. Yes, I agree to the
point of view of author as it has explained that air pollution is one of major global issue which is
faced by each and every country (Liu and et.al., 2018). The author further illustrate that cause or
impact of global issue on health and safety of individual thus government, people and several
organization needs to take coordinate steps to reduce air pollution. Therefore, it can be
understand that air pollution is world largest health and environment problem.
There are various resources that were needed in order to gathered information related to
air pollution such as internet and books and journals. All reliable sources has been taken in order
to get useful information related to air pollution so that government can take accurate decision to
resolve global issue for benefits of people that are living in society.
