children of 6-7 years old in and around the Heathrow airport schools.
What is this research about?
The present research is conducted to know that whether aircraft noise occurred from
Heathrow airport affects to the children or not. In addition to this, those students who belong
from age group of 6-7 years and studied in school situated near to Heathrow airport, their
cognitive ability is assessed. Further, those objectives which are achieved throughout the
present dissertation are stated below:
 To develop understanding about the concept of cognitive perceived ability.
 To investigate the level of aircraft noise and its impact on the perceived cognitive
ability of 6-7 years children.
 To determine the relationship between aircraft noise and perceived cognitive ability
of children who are in and around Heathrow airport schools.
 To recommend the suitable strategies that contributes in the growth and learning of
children.

Who can take part?
In order to conduct the present research, apart from researcher some analyst can also
take part. Along with this, teachers who give education to these students can also contribute
in order to conduct effective research. When a person takes participation to carry out
research, then he or she is beneficial in order to enhance research skills. Along with this,
interested candidate advantageous for boosting up analytical as well as decision making skills
and attributes.
What do you need to do?
In the participant, attributes related to research as well as collect reliable and valid are
required up to the greater extent. The reason is that, research skill is a base for taking

What will happen to the information that you give?
In order to collect data, questionnaire tool is used which helps to make survey and
assess valid conclusion of the problem statement. Once the data collected then recorded using
MS Excel sheet where responses taken from targeted people are recorded.
Will everything you say be kept confidential?
Information which collected by researcher are kept highly safe and for this various
ethics are taken into consideration properly. For this, data recorded in MS Excel sheet along
with the password. Without availability of password, anyone cannot open the sheet and assess
information. Henceforth, the data derived are kept confidentially as well as safely. Apart from
this, until and unless Excel sheet will not delete the data will be kept.
What if you change your mind about taking part?
As participation in the research is voluntary then also I will not oblige or refuse in
order to take part for conducting the research. Basic reason behind this particular decision is
that, it helps to me in order to improve my various skills and attributes like research, effective
judgement, analytical and decision making. Along with this, participation in the research is
supportive for me in order to increase my time management skills which will be highly
beneficial for my carrier and the future.
