Project Sponsor
Airline Company will work as the project sponsor who will invest money to complete the project
and develop the “online New Reservation and Cancelation System” for the airline. They will
invest money on the total cost of the project.
Project Manager
The project manager is performing numbers of jobs in this project which is providing below:
 The project manager is finalizing the feasible topic of the project.
 He will prepare the proper plan for the project.
 He will define the scope of the project to the project sponsor.
 He will assign the job of each member on the basis of each member skills.
 He will analyze the risk in the completion of the project.
 He will deliver the proper information to each member of the project team.
Problem Statement
In the present time, reservation and cancelation list of all flights are generated and sent to the
reservation area of the airline. If the passenger is canceling the tickets, the list of reservation
can’t update on the time in the manual system. It has some more problems which are providing
below:
 Customers must go to the reservation office of the airline office.
 This manual system must require a big amount of manual laborers.
 Only a few amounts of bookings can be made.
Project Summary
Objective
The main objective of this project is to develop the online reservation and cancelation system for
the customers and fulfill the needs of customers. This online project will reduce workload over
the reservation department of airlines. This online software project will work as a distribution
system for the customer which is user friendly (Abdullah & Kadhim 2016, p. 1-3).

Scope
The design and implementation of this reservation and cancelation system will be supported via
the well-designed database. So, all the information of reserved and canceled tickets are
integrated together and this information can easily access via a single point. So, customers can
easily get information from this online portal (Suki & Suki 2017, p. 146-154).
Cost
The “Airline online New Reservation and Cancelation System” project will be completed from
$8000 to $10,000.
