Introduction:
The current proposal is starting a business of restaurants under the banner of “Al
Reetaj Restaurant and Grill” to serve excellent continental and grilled kebabs. The focus is
opening a restaurant that would provide a share of fair and equitable returns for the present
owners. The idea is to serve the customer with superior value by creating and offering a
variety of delicious different forms of hot and grilled kebabs.
Business objective:
The objective of business are as follows;
a. The business would to attract at least a minimum of 100 regular customers each day
in the first year of its operations.
b. The objective of business is to offer customers with excellent continental and grilled
kebabs at a reasonable cost and offer an outstanding customer service, measured by at
least a five percent annual growth in sales revenue with less customer complaints
(Chambers and Humble 2017).
c. To positive generate cash flow from the operations and at least a minimum of 10 per
cent from the net sales.
Mission:
The mission of “Al Reetaj Restaurant and Grill” is to provide an exclusive and
relaxed experience of dinner that is identical to home. The owners would strive to achieve the
goals by offering menu items and would incorporate quality ingredients for better experience
of food at the reasonable price.
Another mission of “Al Reetaj Restaurant and Grill” is to use the strategy, workforce
and system to offer each customers with the seamless three part customer experience service

products and service environment. The mission of “Al Reetaj Restaurant and Grill” is to
surpass the customer expectations.
Vision:
The vision of the owners is to be the first choice restaurants among the customer for

a. Attaining performance excellence by continuously seeking to meet the customer
experience (Finch 2016).
b. The vision of the owners is to be a respected company measured by the customers,
employees and community.
Key competency:
The key competency of “Al Reetaj Restaurant and Grill” are as follows;

The primary focus of the owners would be families, university students and office patrons.
The business would be targeting the average income patrons to market its foods.
The primary market segments would be individuals from retail customers as this
would account for 50% of the sales. The other market segment would include local business
and corporate customers that would typically make large orders for their customers.
Financial Plan:
Considering the financial plans the business be opting for owners funding and bank
loans. The business aims to have a start-up cost of AED 100,000 with 50 percent of the funds
would be provided from the owners funding. The owner’s contribution would be in the ratio
of 50:50 partnership form. The funds that would be derived from the owners would be used

would help in maintaining a healthy financial position of the business over the span of five
years. During that time, it is envisioned that the bank loan and the owners funding will be
sought to meet the new development of business.
