Strategic analysis business tools and techniques can facilitate in understanding the
company’s environment strategically regarding the business. Such tools facilitate in analyzing

et al. 2015). The objective of this paper is to carry out strategic management analysis of a health
science university and a biomedical research institution of US. The company selected for
carrying out strategy analysis is Albany Medical College that is positioned as a renowned US
based medical research and patient care company. This organization carries out biomedical
research and grants institutions and other individuals in supporting range of international
research activities along with pre-college and undergraduate science education.
The major purpose of this institution is to promote human knowledge in the basic science

Strategy- Albany Medical College developed a strategy that has focused on increased
investment in the community care biomedical research. An increased funding is needed
in bringing overall shifting care within a community focused on which biomedical
