This is a short animation for a game about Alien Invasion on planet Earth. The scene projects
the days of an alien invasion from outer space on our planet and the president will fight the
intruders to protect the planet. The scene will begin on the first day of the invasion and will
present the story that will showcase all the aspects and details of the game which will end and
the player will take over the game with UI controls.
I was always a big fan of aliens and outer space and as a child growing up, I watched so many
science fiction movies which inspired me to make this game. This game will be influenced by
various movies like “Arrival”, “Aliens”, “Predators” and also from various games like “The Evil
Within”, “Outlast”. The motive behind the development of this game is to give the players a feel
about fighting aliens and saving our planet and opening their mind about science fiction.

Theme
This scene has a bit of animated and science fiction, which will help the user to really connect
with the theme of the game. As discussed above this game has a lot of influence from various
science fiction movies and games. The scene which will be presented to the users will help the
user to really gather the feel and ambiance of the story.
There will be a narration of the game and story by a background voice which will help the user
to understand the scene in which he is set up. The narration will be in a computer-generated
robot voice, which will create an illusion that the users are in the game and talking to an alien,
so they will feel more involve and connected to the game which is the key to any game’s
popularity. This narration of game through a voice that connects theme and player is very
popular among game develops. In many games, developers include voices of famous actors to
indulge more users.

This scene will use the maximum available since our projection is

SOUNDS
Aliens: This scene will include an alien hanging around the
border of the screen and will be making sounds like
“Attaccckkk!”, “Humaannasss!”, with some gibberish to create a
feeling of alien attack before starting oh the actual game.
Atmosphere: To create more excitement there will also be the
sound of alien space ships in the background which are flying by
and shooting lasers.
Music: Alien music to create more environment and atmosphere
Onclick: There will be shooting laser sound for any onclick action the screen so the UI could feel
more interactive.

Mouseover: There will also be a creepy alien laugh whenever the mouse hovers around the
screen or hover on any buttons.
Game/Scene loading: There will be a battle cry track at the loading screen of the game or more
like a track to pump up the user before starting the game.
FONTS
All the text will in a bubble and it will look like wired alien writing.
IMAGES
To make this scene more interactive images of floating and hovering aliens will be there. Many
of the images will be sourced from the internet.
The background image will be a cartoon image of an alien invasion on a planet with some aliens
and the destruction they caused.
To make an icon of the interface more interactive we will use different aliens’ picture with a
different mood.
Buttons:
A help button will be at the bottom left corner which will take the user to help page. The button
will look like a confused alien.
A skip button will help the user to skip the narration part.
A play button will be at the bottom right corner of the screen to start the game.
Background:
The starting background will be pitch black with some alien green color splashes around the
border. The in-game background will be a scene of the city which has been disrupted by the
aliens and the game will continue in this scene loop.

Content:
The game will contain three pages in total. One is the home page, second is the in-game page
and the third one will be the help page. There will be 20-sec narration in which the player can
learn about the game’s theme. He can skip the narration part as well if he wants.
Description (purpose/objectives):
Part 1 of the game will be narration which will be about 15-20 seconds. The reason to include a
narration scene at the beginning of the game is to let the user know about the theme of the
game and make him feel more connected to the interface. If the user is not new and they don’t
want to watch the narration part then they can click the skip button to go at the game menu
page. At the game menu page, the title of the game will be at the top of the page in creative
graphics. The background will be a scene of an animated city which is devastated by the aliens.
After the narration, the player can either click the play button and proceed to the game or click
the exit button to leave the game.
Animations:
The president position will be still but the background will be moving instead.
User Interactions Required:
The player needs to press the help icon to visit the help page.
Other buttons are not necessary to be pressed but using the skip button can come in handy for
some players.

User Feedback:
The help button will make a sound like a bell or a ding to alert the user about what button he
pressed and a bullet sound will be played after the button is pressed.
The skip button when pressed will play a small track like a battle cry or something so that user
can know that game is starting within a few seconds.

alien invasion.

a. This could be both the forward and backward buttons
4) Button 2: 180 pixels wide x 150 pixels high;
a. This could be the Help button with thinking the alien icon
5) Custom 1: 320 pixels x 50 pixels;
a. It can be the random battle cry or sound during the gameplay
6) Custom 2: 300 pixels x 250 pixels.
